Super great Mouse. some one said that when use the search button it just opens a search screen, yes it happens but they didnt read the book, you have to highlight what you want to search 1st. it is very conftuble and as a nice tuch 2 it. i love it. i would recamend it to anyone. the battery does last a long time. it charges fast and with the software and it telling you how much battery life is left is nice. great product. thank you Logitech its great, and it is better then the 1000. not for left handders tho.

It's a comfortable keyboard to use, and the extras like the volume buttons and other shortcut keys are nice, but the workmanship and quality is just lousy. It often misses the 'i' key when I'm typing which is quite annoying. Yesterday my escape key stopped working all night until it magically started working again this morning.

I have also had problems with a recent Microsoft mouse that I bought, which they replaced for free after 6 months when I called them and complained, but the replacement lasted only another 6 months.

I love MS's ergonomic designs for their mice, keyboards, and gaming devices, but they really need to get some quality control if they want to keep their reputation in this market segment.

This was my first wireless mouse, and I enjoyed the convenience of going wireless. I have had this mouse for about a year and a half, and after a while, it seemed that it would not respond. The pointer would move when I would move the mouse, but clicking would have no effect. I would have to click many times to wait for the mouse to respond. This has been happening more frequently within the last six months. I have changed the battery a couple of times, and even did so recently but that did not improve performance. Today I received the Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 ( D1T-00002 ) to replace it and put the wireless mouse away. I give it three stars because it is comfortable, compact, ergonomic, and was fun at first. But I had to move on. It was too frustrating.

I certainly expected higher quality for a product with such a comparably high price tag:

Spin wheel got stuck within the first week of use. Logitech replaced the mouse.

Second mouse now has the same problem that other users experienced: Sometimes it doesn't register clicks or doesn't move smoothly even though the batteries are fresh and the receiver is just about 3 feet away from mouse.

I needed a precise mouse to work with. Very disappointed.

I purchased this combo because I needed a reliable keyboard / mouse for my MacPro and to run Windows in a virtual environment. This product has not disappointed. It is very comfortable, intuitive and responsive. I have not even bothered to figure out all of the advanced features yet, but my basic needs are well served. A+++ for Logitech. Great product.

It works perfectly fine once I plug it in. Without the additional software, the media (play, mute, etc), mail, and web buttons work. One thing I found interesting is that the wireless mouse just needs one battery to function. The reason it's not 5 stars is because the material does feel plasticky cheap but it gets the job done at a low price.

I have used Dell, Gateway, Logitech and other keyboards. This is the only one that DOESN'T WORK until Windows come up. So basically, if you need to select your OS or do work on the BIOS that requires keyboard info, it won't work. Keyboard failure shows up during boot.

I'm running it through an internal USB card on a Dell server because the internal ones on the Dell don't respond although being powered up and showing as operational in Windows. I also tried using one of those usb to ps/2 connectors that Logitech thoughtfully includes with their keyboards and mice, still didn't work.

So I have to keep an old, beat-up Gateway keyboard around in case I have to do maintenance on the system.

This was a replacement for the same keyboard that I broke, but it is service that counts. The price on Amazon was competitive, but with free shipping (and the patience to wait 3 weeks) made it a good deal.

Too much time at my laptop was causing neck, back, and wrist pain. I raised the laptop so that screen was at eye level, and purchased this keyboard and mouse. Spending the same amount of time on the computer, but my pain has disappeared.

Additionally, the keyboard and mouse are very comfortable to use and work perfectly! Highly recommend!
