I just bought this cyber monday for $19.99.It came yesterday,which was wednesday.It took lesS than a half hour to set it up.It is very user friendly and prints great pictures.

First of all, prior to buying this laptop, I only looked at the stats. The selling points for me was the large hard drive, and the extremely light weight. Aside from the identical stats, like the Atom processor and the RAM, and 6 cell battery, the HHD and weight were the very reason I bought this laptop. However, after I purchased it, I started getting scared for several reasons after looking at actual older reviews. Problems with a loud fan noise. WiFi problems (worried me the most.) I decided to solve the problem "network setting have been changed by another program", received after I installed a recent Mac security update, with an upgrade from Tiger to Leopard. I had exhausted the possibilities offered by the Mac Fix It forum, and I had not been able to access the internet for a long time. Apple, it seems, has not offered a fix. Leopard installed easily, and I did a custom install, choosing to not install printer drivers, non-English languages, and a Unix module, saving myself 5 or so gigs of space. The dial up internet is now working great, and surfing on the Web is much faster than with Windows XP, with many less problems. I also installed the recent 10.5.5 update.

This MacBook is a great upgrade all things considered. I am a longtime Mac user and have used them for everything from graphic design work to simple college papers. I recently upgraded to this Mac from an Ibook G4. If you are intending to use this Mac for heavy graphic design and professional video editing then it may not be for you. I would like to refute a few of the bad reviews people have given. 1.) There is no firewire - This is apparent by simply looking at the laptop and thus if you use firewire often then don't buy it, this will save some time returning it. Many average users do not need firewire and transferring files from an old Mac is still very easy with this new MacBook. 2.) I was unpleasantly suprised to find that the two items ordered has to come from different suppliers. This of course requires double shipping charges. One would think that the 74xl and 75xl ink cartridges, which go together much like salt and pepper, would be available from the same supplier? Live and learn, I guess! I am taking this review system as my only option (other than the phone) to vent my dissatisfaction. I looked for a way to use E-mail, but can't seem to find such an option.

I have had nothing but problems with this printer. I bought it for the all-in-one features and to free up some room on my desk. From the beginning, the scanner never worked. I kept getting error messages. I tried several times to correct the problem with the tech people but I had nothing but problems reaching them. Then the printer kept getting paper jams in the back. Now the rollers don't grip the paper and any copies I make only come out half or barely completed. Also, after I replace an empty ink cartridge, when I try to print, I get a message stating that the cartridge is empty and do I want to print in black only. Better than expected. Great resolution; large keyboard. I see why techy experts rate this one better than the MSI Wind or the Acer. And no problems with the wireless connection. Set up was a snap; easy as 1-2-3.
