I have not used this yet.. still considering returning it.. the problem is the size of it.. i bought this for my teen to use with her digital camera.. and omg.. i knew it was not compact, but didn't realize it was giant.. my fault.. should have read description better.. :( I have ordered many items from amazon, and this is the first time that I have encountered my next problem.. the printer came in it's packaging and that is it.. no amazon box to disquise what was inside.. so fed ex pulls up and hands me part of my daughter's Christmas in front of her.. rrrr...

I bought this printer from Amazon and everything's been great. Receiving it ahead of schedule and at a good price. The printer has performed flawlessly so far, copying, printing and scanning are real quick and it was very easy to install. Well, that doesn't go for setting up on a network but, like all the earlier reviews, it took some doing. I know I didn't follow the steps to a "T" but still got it done in a reasonable amount of time. The cartridges will be costly at about $15-$17 each, times 5 (ouch) but, what printer doesn't cost much for ink?? The footprint is reasonable and great for my needs. I do a lot of printing and I highly recommend this printer!

This is a beautifully made and operating product that I have not had the time to test all of it's capabilities. Like so many electronic products making their appearance, each generation is progressively more complex than the previous to the point that, at times, they beome cumbersome and hard to use. By the time the user gets to be ninety years old, simply inserting a piece of paper and giving the knob on the platten a spin and then typing would be a blessing.

So far this printer has been great. No complaints. The pictures look professional.

First of all, this printer is very professional and sleek looking. It doesn't take up much space at all when it's all closed up, and prints reasonably fast for most moderate users. Driver's installed easy, came with great free software, free 4x6 photo paper, and free 4x6 premium photo paper. Best value for the price (Although you can find it at about half the cost at a not-to-be-named superstore)

I've had nothing but trouble with HP printers. The Canon MX310 is such a wonderful change to a truly quality printer-scanner-fax, and for half the price! The software installed without a hitch in Windows XP and all functions work great. The manual is somewhat vague and it took some small amount of fiddling to operate the fax and scan modes, but in the end, not enough to remove a whole star, as it's really pretty simple to use. It also looks good, with a sleek design. I love it! Keep it up, Canon!

I've had my printer for about 10 months. I loved it in the beginning. For the price, I thought it was a great printer (and still do think the quality printing is good). My problem is that after about 5 months, the paper feeder would no longer feed paper into the printer. The rollers would roll, but wouldn't catch the paper to feed it in. I called Canon and they sent me a refurbished one to replace it and paid the shipping to return the old one. I was happy with their prompt response, and I do disagree with reviews saying Canon's service is bad. I would give this product 4 stars, but I'm waiting to see if I'll have the same problem with my replacement printer first.

I purchased the Epson Stylus Photo 1400 Printer directly from the Epson online store. [...] No sample paper comes packaged with the printer so I immeadiately went to the store to get a healthy supply of Epson papers. I picked up various sizes and weights as well as printable blank DVD's. I made sure I also picked up the large 13x19 sheets so I could see my images in all their glory! The first thing that struck me was the shear size of this printer. It's large. Unpacking it was a breeze since the inner bag that is wrapped around the printer has handles on it for easy printer extraction. Just buy it! Couldn't live without it. When I want to print a lot of prints, I use Walgreens or whatever. But for the occasional print or for scrapbooking pictures of various sizes, this is awesome.
