purchased this unit 1month ago and I am very satisfied. The only problem is when I setting 2nd computer this unit doesn't configure mouse and key board but later after I play little time it works well. after that everything is great and very comfortable and this audio support is great and price is pretty good too. I strongly recommend this unit for who have 2 computer with one monitor. ^^

I acquired this device so that I can connect my desktop and Xbox 360 to my LCD monitor. From the fist day that I acquire this product to this day, it has worked flawlessly. It's easy to switch from desktop to Xbox and Xbox to desktop. Nonetheless, you don't have to have both devices for the switch kit to work. I would recommend this product for anyone who wants to get hi-definition from their Xbox 360, but cannot afford a TV.

I bought the Iogear GCS632U MiniView Micro USB PLUS KVM Switch about 2 months ago. I admire the sleek and compact design. I am using Microsoft Windows Vista (and Ubuntu Linux) on one machine and Windows XP on the other. While I turn on the machines, the boot process displays "Keyboard Failure." I really don't know why it does that and it happens even if the other machine is turned off. I don't have problems with the keyboard, though. One thing I noticed was the varied response of the switching process. The mouse cursor does not move when I switch right while the other machine is in the shut down process. this belkin 2 port kvm switch works great unwrapped it looked at the schematic and was up and running in no time ,, am using it now as i have upgraded to new computers had no problems with xp or vista

This is a decent KVM switch. But keep in mind its USB 1.1 and not 2.0. The only thing I have noticed is that when you switch from one machine to another each you see that Windows keeps saying it found USB devices and that ding-ding sound that Windows OS plays ... other than that everything seems fine!

This product, in conjunction with a pair of DVI EDID identification spoofers, is working GREAT in one of our UAV Ground Station applications. Excellent High Quality Product - I am proud to be using it... now, if they can come up with a 19" Rack Mount Kit, I'll be completely set.

Purchased the GCS634U to switch between my Powermac G4 and my Dell PC, using the Apple keyboard and a Kennsington USB optical mouse. Pretty basic stuff. Started it up with the mouse plugged into the Apple keyboard USB port (on the back of the apple keyboards), and the keyboard was recognized, but the mouse wasn't. Plugged the mouse directly into the front of the GCS634U, and everything worked perfectly. Problem is, I don't want 2 cables coming from my desk. I want one. Called the support line for IOGear, and after being put on hold for a good 20 minutes, was told that I have to plug the mouse into the mouse USB port on the GCS634U, and that I can not use the Apple USB hub. Needed this to switch a 22" Apple Cinema Display between a G5 and G4 (server). After some pre-sales questions said the product would work with my system, I purchased the switch (from Amazon), a VGA/DVI adapter for the G4 and hooked it all up. Wouldn't work -- turns out I needed a video card with a DVI port. Fair enough -- another purchase. Still didn't work. Would work with one computer, but trying to switch to the other shut down my first computer abruptly. Booting with the second computer, then switch to the first resulting in no display and the blinking power light that indicated the monitor was not receiving a signal. What a waste!
