The unit doe's what it claims to do. Easy to set up and read. So far it is working well without any problems.

First off, get this one and not the WS-7013TWC, also sold by Amazon. The 'BZ' unit comes with a remote sensor and is cheaper than the 'TWC' which doesn't come with a remote sensor. Go figure. I guess it is like airline fares. Anyway, the unit, although it is a bit on the small side does it job well. I had an older La Crosse base station, which gave up the ghost, so I replaced it with this one. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the new one immediately paired with the old remote unit, so now I have two remote units. Nice! The batteries, especially on the remote have lasted a long time. (The old remote unit is on its original battery from 3 years ago.

Bought this outdoor thermometer almost two years ago and put it outside. It still works fine and has even survived being blown down a couple times.

Although I found this instrument small, we hung it up and were pleasantly surprised to see how accurate it was and still is! We compared this to another we have and they were exact. Especially impressed with the barometer readings, it is on the money.

I got this as a Christmas gift in 2006. It worked beautifully as soon as I plugged it in, and I really enjoyed using it. The problem came after a year. One day it had a message that it had lost the signal from MSN. I tried moving the unit closer to the window, I tried bringing up to the highest point in the house, and it still didn't work. I thought maybe my area had been dropped from the MSN service, so I called Oregon Scientific. They assured me that my area was still covered, and recommended unplugging the unit for 24 hours. I tried this and the problem still existed. So, I brought the unit to my work in New York City where coverage is very strong - and it still didn't work. I purchased this item 3 years ago. The rain gage has failed twice and the Wind Speed/direction has also failed. The rain gage was replaced under warenty, but it failed again. The Parts are not available for purchase.

This clock keeps immaculate time and is good looking as well. The only thing I would do is add an anti-glare covering as it is hard to read when the sun hits it. It looks good with the rest of my furniture. The time is easily read at any distance, but you need to get closer to see the date, day and temperatures. The moon phase is a cool little conversation piece and it's fun to see which phase the moon is in as it moves across the clock face.

This is the first weather station I have owned and I really love it! It was simple to set up, easy to use and looks nice too. Great tool for the amatuer weather buff!

I ordered the indoor unit and 2 outdoor units. I had trouble from the start getting 2 outdoor units to work properly on 2 channels. one unit I put near my pool under my deck with the probe in the water. The probe worked for a week, the second probe wouldn't work at all. The unit under the deck work for 2 weeks and quit. The other outdoor unit was in a window between the glass and screen to get outdoor temperature. It worked for about a month. Only the indoor unit works now.
