It's a really nice product and worked very well for close to a year. Then, as it seems to happen with others - it leaked and it dies. The guy who sealed it when he bought it had the right idea. I think I will buy another and silicon it up before I drop it in next time.

I guess I didn't read the description of this clock very well. Its clock is hard to read at an angle. If displays the current temperature in your house. The projection is rather weak. It looks like cheap junk. Overall, I don't care about the temp within my house, that is why I have a thermostat. Yes, there will be hot and cold spots in my home and I will be curious about them, but not enough to increase my whole utility bill to fix them, nor will I buy a clock to tell me for the next few years that the cold/hot spot I feel is indeed different from the rest of the house. The National Geographic Home Weather Station for TV works great. It is cool to see the weather data displayed on the TV. Now we know how much rainfall we get at our house, which varies a great deal from what the News reports say. The temperature guage tracks closely with another outdoor temperature guage we already had. We are very satisfied with this unit.

I use this great device to monitor temp and humidity by a clothes dryer that I have a vent on to blow hot air into the room. That was I can close the vent when the humidity gets too high. Cheap, digital and reliable.
