I purchased this not too long ago. As soon as I opened the box and began to put it together I noticed that the main frame the "A" portion was exactly the same part as the other "A" portion. Therefore you couldn't possibley put it together at all. Save yourself some time, pain, and suffering and just buy one at Wal-Mart or something.

I replaced my Hunter wired sensor that has been "baked" almost since the day I installed it. It just never worked right. The Houston, Texas sun and humidity may have something to do with this. This Toro wired rain sensor is awesome. It took 10 minutes to install and works! I am using it with a Toro controller and that may be the reason it's superior over the Hunter. I feel this sensor is a great value and I strongly recommend it!

I own 3 of the regular Flexogen 8 ply aqua colored hoses and they still work fine after 19 years use, but they have a mildew issue (granted I can easily wipe it off w/ bleach but I'd prefer if I didn't have to do this). I bought this hose to see since it is the latest and greatest version if it would be more mildew resistant. I have not had it long enough to yet determine. I also like the connecting ends better since it reduces stress and hopefully will prevent leaking at the faucet end. This is a solid reputation company that stands behind its product (my neighbor sent one back for a quick replacement). It is so true that once you buy this wonderful kink free hose that you will never have to buy another, except of course those in my situation that desire to try the latest model!

If you're going for a basic hose hangar, this can't be beat- I used to use one of those wind-up deals, that let you wind those hose up, except after a year it started leaking- frankly, this is simple, and the way to go-

I live in a historic neighborhood that was hit by a tornado and we lost over 20 mature trees. We replaced the majority of the trees and ordered a 20-gallon Tree Gator for each of them. The product works very well and all of the trees are doing excellent after a hot and dry summer. The Tree Gator is simple to use and is made out of durable material. The zipper is also durable, which was an initial concern of mine. Overall, I would highly recommend the product. The neighborhood saved a huge amount of time by purchasing this product! We only filled up the Tree Gator 1 to 2 times per week (depending on the Indiana weather).

I purchased this to deep water our trees that were newly planted in the spring. The TX drought was taking a toll on them and the ground was so hard and had deep cracks throughout that when watered the water ran off of where it truly needed to be. With the deep root irrigator I am now able to cut my watering time in half. I can do a deep water and have it get right to the root system. My trees perked up almost instantly. Others stated there should be a turnoff on the item, I went to Lowes and purchased a .97 cent turnoff and it works great! This item definetely saves time and water since it doesn't runoff and gets to where it needs to be!

I ordered this hose because of the 2-3 inch heavy duty collar at the end, shown in the picture. The hose that arrived had the correct item number, but had just a regular brass hose end. I thought I was ordering something heavy duty, now it seems just like a regular hose.

I have 2 full orbit systems on my home. One for the front yard, one for the back. This is my 3rd summer with them. The electronics seem to work fine, but programming them is a pain. The valves are the weak link. After sitting in the sun (attached to the brass 4 way) they dont close as good as they should, which creates howling water pipes. At first i thought my new house was haunted, but it was those darn valves. The silver lining? These bad boys have a 5 year warranty. Who gives warranties like that anymore? No one! This alone makes it a wise purchase. As the valves start to die, i call orbit and tell them of my problem. They ship me new ones. I actualy just bought 2 more new ones to have as spares. Know that they are gonna give out on you, but also know that Orbit IS there to back thier product.

Excellent product. Everything a nozzle should be. Rugged, easy to adjust spray (though a little different from others)built in flow adjustment (separate from spray adjustment). Easy lock. Forget those home center throwaways. It used to be you could get a decent nozzle from Gilmour for example but the stuff they sell at the home centers is junk. I've gone through two of those a season for the last several years. I expect this one to last many years. This nozzle is all plastic, but solidly built. I also purchased a Claber Metal-Jet at the same time. I expect that one to last forever, though it's not as adjustable as the Multi-Jet.
