I felt compelled to review this so others won't waste their time or water with this bad product. I came home one afternoon to see water spraying out this, since the metal coupling on the bottom came uncrimped from the rubber hose. No big problem I think, maybe I just got a bad one in the batch since I'd only been using it for about 3 weeks. My setup has it always on, then electronic timers cycle twice daily after this coupler to controller sprinklers in the garden. So I returned it to the local hardware store and got a replacement. The new one worked for about 2 weeks until failing. I was picking peppers when it let go the second time around, so I at least avoided a muddy garden. I'm happy with this purchase. I wouldn't say it never kinks, but it's definitely better than a standard inexpensive hose. Its easy to wind without a reel, and not frustrating to unwind (it doesn't get fixed in its stored shape that it stays coiled up).

We have 3 different faucets and maybe 10 various watering attachments and we use these at every point of connection. They are sometimes hard to find locally so I stock up in case they ever quit marketing these brass connectors. I use a pair of plumbers wrenches and fresh washers when I intially set them up and then they are trouble free.

I love my watering cans. I use them to fill the dog bowls, my plants. It holds just enough water. It seems smaller online, but was plenty big and my girls use them in the bath, outside and play with them all the time.

I would like to buy this item -- and others -- but I need to know where it is made and if it is solid brass or just paint over lead or plastic. After several years of throwing away money on made-in-China junk that falls apart long before the summer is over, I need more knowledge about lawn equipment than simply the advertising

Very good product. Very rugged, easy to adjust spray (though a little different from others)built in flow adjustment (separate from spray adjustment). Easy lock. Forget those home center throwaways. It used to be you could get a decent nozzle from Gilmour for example but the stuff they sell at the home centers is junk. I've gone through two of those a season for the last several years. I expect this one to last forever. This nozzle has a metal core and is solidly built. I also purchased a Claber Multi-Jet at the same time. It is more adjustable, but not as sturdy as this one. Both are very good.

very time consuming to set the timer for the different watering functions.rain- bird made the easiest timer to set and Gilmour could take a lesson from them for their hose bibb timer.
