I bought this to replace the pump up sprayer tank. It comes with the batteries and sure beats a squeeze bottle or a pump sprayer. I wish it had a bigger tank, say 1 gal. It's still a great unit. I'm considering getting a second one.

I bought this and shortly after a month it started falling apart at the seams, quite literally. Basically anywhere that was a water pressure/leak point it began leaking or it stressed the weak plastic into cracking. I'd recommend looking for a different product.

I have two of these, and have used them one season. The programming is extremely easy to use and gives you enough options -- much simpler than the some of the other digital ones. The easy programming is a big plus if you are establishing a lawn and need to start with a lot of watering and then reduce it over time. The batteries are very easy to change ... and you should plan to run through a set of 3 AA batteries about every six weeks if you have the valves working daily. There is a low-battery indicator to let you know when they need to be changed. Overall, ease-of-use is a huge plus on this item. I purchased this timer for the outside lights on my home. Since I use CFL's on the fixtures, I did some research and found this product. After reading the favorable reviews, I decided to try it. I installed it this afternoon and had some questions about the installation. Kim at Swylite was very helpful. The installation took less than 1 hour, even with the request for technical assistance from Swylite. I set the time and the on and off settings and it is working perfectly so far. I will update this review after a couple of weeks.
