This umbrella wears extremely well. I bought this a couple years ago and live in the hot southern US. Prior market umbrellas have lasted just a season, as the heat destroys the cloth and or wood pole. This umbrella remains in great condition. I would definitely buy another, should this ever wear out! It is also one of the easiest umbrellas to open and secure in place.

This is a must for any offset umberlla and at a great price. The white color was so bright and imposing that I bought some brown spray paint at the local hardware store that is specifically for painting plastic and I painted it. Now it looks and works great! I filled mine with water (and a little bleach) so that I can easily empty it and move it into the garage come winter. It works great even in strong wind. I would recommend this product to anyone buying an offset umbrella.

Great big umbrella and the lights are ok - I wish they were a little brighter. More ambiance lighting than actually lighting the area. I did replace one damaged by a hurricane with the same umbrella, so over all good product.

We loved this umbrella when we first set it up even though we didn't realize you HAD to buy a big ugly base for it. Well we left it open one afternoon and one gust of wind complete distroyed it! We are lucky it didn't damage our house or the patio furniture. I think for a good offset umbrella you have to spend the cash.

This base (I bought the black base) rusted after a rainy night and rusted more after that. Also, I thought it would be heavy enough, but it lifted and fell over twice after some windy days. I should have bought a heavier base.

I was so disappointed with this umbrella. I know its a great price, but I was at least expecting it to work. The umbrella was made mostly of plastic and when I put it up to use it, it broke! I am not sure if mine was defective, but it is not worth purchasing regardless. I did get a refund without any trouble, so I am happy about that! This was the only piece of the set that was not good. Everything else is great.
