I bought these to rig them in my tree for technical tree climbing. They aren't safety rated but we do not un-clip from our saddles when using them and I have strung additional rope for tying them to the tree because the rope supplied is easily snagged and I imagine in the sun it wouldn't weather well. These are very comfortable chairs.

Fits wicker and metal furniture beautifully. Vented so it doesn't smell so bad when covers are removed. Great product at a great price. I Bought two extra for future needs.

This chair does not come with the extension rope that is mentioned in the instructions. Currently hanging from my back patio cover joist (which is 7' off the ground) this chair's bottom is about 40" off the ground. Clearly too high to get into, much less get out of. I emailed the company's support and they said they do not offer the extension rope and that "last year's model" came with it but not this one. I thought it was a good deal at $30.50 shipped, but now I have to go buy nylon rope and attach it manually, hoping I can tie a sailor's knot appropriately and my family doesn't bust their A$$ sitting in it. The other one I have, which I paid $70 for, doesn't need an extension rope the rope itself is long enough. I think next time I'd prefer to just spend more money and get something ... Read More

The chairs assemble easily enough (they come in 3 parts - the seat, the front legs and the back legs) - however, beware that the bolts come loose way too easily and you'll need to keep the tool handy to retighten them often. I may get out some Gorilla Glue (wonderful stuff once it foams and dries) to strengthen the structure of the chairs.

This cushion is of very nice quality - not the highest, but not the lowest either - good amount of fill and true to the color shown. Also it fits the Strathwood lounger perfectly. Be aware it is NOT waterproof, so if you are going to use this for a pool-deck chair, you might want to reconsider. It does well when it gets wet, but it takes a few hours to try out. Overall, I'm very happy with this cushion.

The whole St. Thomas collection is very nice for the price. I was looking for both a dining and seating group and was quite discouraged elsewhere. Other things i looked at were were way out of price range from $5000 to around $10,000 and cheaper groups often didnt have all the pieces i was looking for. So, I ended up buying the whole st. thomas set. Upsides are: 1. the nice design of the peices 2. very comfortable seating (my husband is 6'5 and was impressed by how comfy the seats were for him, they are kind of on the high side).
