This hummingbird feeder looks great, but more importantly, it works! This is the first hummingbird feeder that I've owned that I NEVER have problems with ants! It is super-easy to clean and fill, and the hummingbirds love it. I ended up ordering 3 because I had so many hummingbirds "fighting" over it. (If you feed hummingbirds you know how territorial they can be.) Another plus is that it doesn't leak like many of the "tube" feeders, and even in summer thunderstorms it doesn't spill. I highly recommend this hummingbird feeder.

I have been looking for this "back-up" humming bird feeder for a years... and why in God's creation I never thought of going right off to Amazon is a tribute to my 20th century thinking. THIS IS THE BEST FEEDER. Period. Cleans up real nice. NEVER drips. All round fantastic and the price... such a deal. I'm buying three. Two for the "kids" and my back up. God Bless. Take care. These clear, cute birdfeeders are awesome. I just ordered three more. They are shaped like a house, with a wide opening. These are great because the birds don't "sweep" the feed, so there's no waste. And because of the smaller size, they are inclined to patiently take turns at each feeder. Very simple design and easy to wash up and stick back up.

There is no reason to put red food coloring into the mix. There are numerous concerns about the effect on hummingbirds. This is reason enough to not buy this product. Buy a product without the dye.

I have two feeders, the other isn't used by the birds. I saw them go to it when I first put it out, but I think the water was too hot and they never went back. This one they use everyday. I sit out in the morning with my coffee and watch the birds and the squirrels. I love it. This feeder was easy to put together and fill. The parts that look brass are actually plastic, but they are threaded and well made. Everything fits together nicely, It hangs straight and secure. It's really pretty, much more so than I expected. I'm going to get the other shape by the same manufacturer because I enjoy this one so much. I'm glad I got it. It is worth the money.
