the sound was not too nice, I am not into music so I did not know what to expect.. however I do suggest the trio chime is sounds very pretty I might say. this solo one is not a good purchase..

This wind chime is very musical and excellent in quality. Just hope the wood top can stand the outdoor weather condition. I saw some other companies that have metal ring on top. The delivery was on time and the service was nice.

This is a beautiful sounding chime. It is not loud and sounds almost like tinkling glass. Here's the catch: need major wind to have it work. We moved it to a number of places which were open to the wind. When you hang it by its cord, the entire chime moves in circles. Nice circular movement, but no chime. The idea is for the metal rods to move, which chime, not necessarily the wood holder. As we live in an area where there wind is the norm; we thought this would be a nice addition outside of our kitchen window, but after watching it spin around and not chime, its a disappointment. If the string attached to the top of the wood were sturdier/thicker, it might limit the movement of the wood and let the wind move the chimes.

Woodstock Pachelbel Canon Chime The chimes are lovely and seem to be good quality, however I do wonder why the ring to hang them is made of plastic? The sound is very beautiful, but it is too loud for me. It is a good thing that I have three acres because I can't hang them too close to the house. I much prefer the softer Gregorian Soprano chimes.

If you value the sound of a windchime then you know you don't purchase just any windchime, you buy the best and that's "Woodstock".My last Woodstock chime wore out after 10 years so I just purchased a larger one to replace it.The tone,beauty and quality is amazing and friends have loved the "Amazing Grace" of it.Shipping was great and you couldn't beat the price!Thank you !

I selected these bells because I prefer the quieter sound compared to regular wind chimes. They fit the bill perfectly. The bell don't resonate as long as wind chimes and create a softer tone that doesn't become annoying.

I had the Woodstock "Earth" chimes for about 8 years, and loved them, however, my husband was not a big fan...he felt they were too noisy on windy days. The string on them broke this year, and even though Woodstock was kind enough to send me string to restring it, it proved to be more than I wanted to do. I ended up ordering the Tibetan chimes, and love them. They are smaller than my Earth chimes, but their tone is beautiful, and even on the windiest days they are not intrusive. I love them!
