Much better range/reception from remote temp sensor than 433Mhz skyscan model I replaced. If anything, the temp updates too often (4 seconds), fluctuating by half a degree or so. Personally I think 10 to 15 second temp updates would be more reasonable with a bit more stability in the readings. The time reception syncronized very quickly even from middle of my house. More color choices for the side face panels (or simply removing the useless side panels) would be a nice addition. But all in all I am very pleased with this product.

This is a very accurate product.I use it in my Greenhouse and it works very well.

The thermometer works works in all kinds of weather as advertised. Even through 2 brick walls the receiver very rarely drops the read. Very easy to nandle and even my Mom who never trusts new things, started to love it after few days.

I got two of these, one for my mother and one for me. We are very happy with them, they seem to be accurate and they are very simple. They stand up well and can be moved around easily. You can see the readout from across the room. I would choose this again.

Everything is relative. This unit is no exception. For the $25 price you can hardly go wrong. Yes, there is a glare but not enough to pass on the price. It does not have all the bells and whistles as the $50 plus stations but it does work and it works fairly well. We have 2 other models going: a really cheap one that shows it and a fairly expensive one and it has a few more bells and whistles. This is the perfect starter station for the folks who want to know about the temperatures and other stuff. I thought after a year or so this would be just another gadget that finds itself in the Goodwill bag or yard sale. It isn't. It has been a dependable friend worth keeping and replacing batteries when necessary.

Great item. Displays time synced with the atomic clock. Moon, in and out temp great value.

This looked like a good product but I returned it unopened. The remote temperature sensor did not have a readout. I use the remote on a patio table so I like to know the temp. when I am there, as well in the house. I don't think the description said anything about the remote having a readout or not. My current unit, which is failing after 5 years (different brand) does have the remote readout. So I'll give it 3/5 since I looked good but I did not use it.

I bought this device with the express purpose of keeping track of the internal temperature of the chest freezer we keep in our garage. With the remote sensor snuggled deep in the freezer, and the main display unit hanging on the wall, I can see the temperature of the interior of the garage and see how cool the freezer is at a glance. So far, so good.

I wasn't sure I would like this product. It's compact, which is good. The projection screen is perfect. the alarm is not too harsh, which is what I was concerned about. I love it. My only issue is at night the main screen is not illuminated. But overall... I love it!
