The only reason for the four stars is the size of the grill, otherwise I am very please with this product. It get's hot enough for steaks and is easy to clean. Easy to light and cools off quickly.

If you read any of the other 5 star reviews of this grill, they are all true. This grill not only has 2 cross-member burner bars, but a square outer bar which surrounds the entire permimeter of the grill rack allowing perfect and even heat distribution. I grill all of the time all year and have been through a lot of grills. This is the best I have ever had, It is lightweight, looks very classy, and works great. I can honestly say it is the best grill I have ever had (No problem carrying it from the 2nd story deck to the downstairs patio), and leaves great sear marks to boot, making you look like a world class griler!

This is just simply the best small charcoal grill on the market. It retains heat very well and the food just taste better. Clean up is little cumbersome like any other charcoal grill. I use it more that my weber. I highly recommend this product. It's well worth the price.

Just inaugurated my new stove top smoker and we loved it. My wife was concerned about the smell of smoke in the house, but a kitchen exhaust fan took care of any smoke that leaked out of the pan. I've smoked outside for years, but I wanted something quick and easy. I saw it being used on BBQU and turned right around and ordered it.

Want to use a tank larger than a pound? Then you need this! It's a quality part, and will pay for itself after the second 20# tank of propane!

We purchased this to take to the lake this summer. We used it several times and enjoyed it very much. We did buy the adapter so we could hook up the larger tank; it did what it needed to do and I've no doubt it will get lots of use at the lake, tail gating, etc... I am not giving it five stars becase it doesn't cook as nicely as a large gas grill but then again we didn't expect it would. For the size and price I'd say it was a very good purchase.

I had previous Patio Caddie and was delighted. Decided to return to Char-Broil and ordered new unit. Several problems: mechanical lighter does not work, fuel valve does not shut off, and an area of the kettle has bubble through the enamel and is rusting. Would not buy again!
