This timer is great, easy to program but it needs a one buttion manual setting for all the stations to run instead of manually doing one station at a time.

Received what I thought was a higher quality than I ordered. Thanks! Gauge was what I needed for an occasional check of my water pressure.

My old sprinkler control timer was nearly impossible to program and was starting to act very erratically. I got some ridiculous quotes to have it replaced, and I could not find any place where they sold a 12-station unit for less than $150. So finally I decided to look it up here ("I'm sure Amazon is not going to sell a sprinkler timer"), and suprise! It was cheaper than anywhere else. The quality of this box is much higher than the Richdel it replaced, it was extremely easy to install (took less than 10 minutes), and it works just fine. If I had known, I would have done this a year ago.

I replaced my Hunter wired sensor that has been "baked" almost since the day I installed it. It just never worked right. The Houston, Texas sun and humidity may have something to do with this. This Toro wired rain sensor is awesome. It took 10 minutes to install and works! I am using it with a Toro controller and that may be the reason it's superior over the Hunter. I feel this sensor is a great value and I strongly recommend it!

I was looking for a timer that didn't require you to refer to the instructions each time you wanted to make a change. This one fits the bill. It is indeed easy to program as advertised. My only beef with the unit is when you want to water more than once a day. We like to do a brief watering on each circuit, then run through each circuit again with a longer cycle. But with this timer, the intervals for twice a day are pre-programmed at six hours apart. If you want to water three times a day, that setting has its own intervals although we don't use that one. If you can live with those limitations, then this would be a good unit to try.

It is good for its price, and is probably accurate enough for sprinkler systems, but it didn't work for sizing a pressure reduction valve. I got 3 different readings from 3 different hose hookups, using the same test loads each time. If you can hook it up where you will be pulling the water from (as in a hose bib outside), you should be ok. But if you need to find the flow within a pipe, (as in a main pipe in your house) the reading you get from a hose bib won't work. For that, you should rent a high dollar in line flow meter. Fluid dynamics can be tricky.

I used this valve for a sprinkler system in Minnesota and forgot one winter to bleed the valve completely and it cracked. After ordering the replacement, I was unable to easily install it (it's a long story but lets just say that plumbing is not my strong point). After contacting a plumber to install the new valve, he politely suggested using an all-metal valve in lieu of this plastic one - which would meet code - and it costs the same buying direct from him as I paid for the toro valve.

I selected this product as an alternative to running wires to a 4 year old control panel. The receiver portion (small white square device not shown in product pictures) was very easy to connect taking less than 10 mins as my control panel (Non Toro brand) had sensor terminals available. Instructions were fairly easy to follow, two wire connections to the screws for the sensor, then 2 wires for power (also inside the control panel). Mounted sensor with 2 screws on edge of deck handrail and first test worked as expected. The next morning it rained and after the first 10 mins of rain the sensor set to the 1/4 inch setting activated correctly.
