Seems like a great product - relatively inexpensive, powerful, lighter than gas models, can blow or vac, mulches when in vac mode, environment friendly etc. Not so great in practice for the following reasons: * Can blow at modest speed fairly quietly but loud whine at full speed --> need hearing protection * Very loud in vacuum mode, mostly leaves whacking through machine --> need hearing protection * Awkward to carry and hold in vacuum mode- bag supposed to sit over one shoulder but really need two hands to hold unit in front of body so everything kind of twisted and awkward * Vacuum near useless at anything other than full power * Vacuum useless to pick up leaves by walking around lawn - need to blow or rake into piles then vacuum/mulch ... I split a bunch of oak with this unit, but it would not split any unseasoned wood. It's too wet. I stacked my unseasoned oak away and will wait until next season to spilt it. Otherwise, I had no problem splitting big rounds (12 to 15 inches) of seasoned oak. Hala

I bought this saw based on other reviews and was a little skeptical if it would work as well as a gas saw. Bottom line.........it does. Plenty of power, no gas to mix and add, much quieter than a gas saw. I did not experience any kickback while cutting down several trees in my backyard. A few things to keep in mind. Buy a heavy duty extension cord (12/3). I bought a 100' and 50'. Used them together and they worked fine. If you are doing a lot of cutting (about a cord) buy a gallon of bar oil. The saw uses it fairly quickly and if you buy a quart (like I did) you'll soon be back at the store for a gallon. A gallon is not much more than a quart (think paint pricing). This is a handy (little, but powerful) chainsaw. Don't laugh, it's true. Great for carrying into the woods to make a quick job of small trees, cutting firewood, etc. Nice to not have to mess with gas, etc. You do have to add oil for the chain, but otherwise this is a snap to use!

This cordelss blower is just okay. Nothing great. It comes with only one battery so I purchased a back up at Home Depot. The battery makes this unit heavier than my previous one (which unfortunately was discontinued) and it only lasts a good 10 minutes. It is fine for blowing my patio and deck but that's about it. Would not buy again.

So far so good. Bought it to use in our camper on a 9 inch TV that has a TV box hooked up to it. Doesn't make noise, takes up minimal space and the picture is great. We haven't had the occasion to hook two things in to it yet but so far so good. Working as it should. Thanks

This is a light-duty tool, but as such, it's terrific. I live in south Texas, where our ubiquitous brush is designed by Satan. You can't get close to it or it'll hurt you, but it grows up in fence lines and has to be cleaned out somehow. The Black and Decker pole saw is an ideal tool for this, better than a gas-powered brush cutter, which I also have. You can stick it way inside a clump of catclaw, for instance, saw the damn stuff off, and then pull it out and burn it. I've also used it to prune live oak trees, nearly hard as iron, and it does a decent job of that, too. You don't need a ladder (dangerous!), and it's true the battery doesn't last long, but after pruning enough in fifteen minutes to fill the bed of a pickup twice, that's all I want to do anyway.
