This product works well and you don't have to bend over to do your trimming. It also spares your clothes and shoes from getting grass all over unlike the weed whackers. A Great GREEN product. No gas or string winding necessary. The only problem is that you cannot acurately balance the handle while cutting at the same time. My grandfather had shears with wheels. The wheels kept the blade at a even height and it made it easier to go for long stretches. Why did we loose the wheels? PUT THE WHEELS BACK ON and this item will be absolutely perfect.

I just got this the other day and I've already put it into action. The knife looks pretty pathetic in the images on Amazon, but in reality it's sharp and very effective. The pruning shears are also excellent with a very good spring. In short, this tool has the quality you'd expect from Leatherman. I also want to praise Amazon's delivery. I bought the tool with the Super Saver delivery option and they turned up just three days later. Only one downside - they came with the wrong instructions. I got the "Vista" instructions by mistake. Of course it's just a couple of clicks to download the right ones from the Leatherman site.

I am very pleased with the Felco Classic pruner. It is strong, accurate and lightweight. I cut and trim everything from roses and volunteer seedlings to 25ft high bamboo. I have used 3 pruners over the past 30 years, and I feel confident that this will be the last pruner I buy and will last me another 30 years.

Was fairly disappointed in this product's performance. Have to place it Just Right and soil needs to be Just So - otherwise wind up yanking away at branches of weed and not the weed itself.

This is perfect for deadheading roses and other spent blossoms. Generally easy to use, but the locking mechanism can be annoying, especially with gloves on.

Great pruners - the rotating handle mechanism virtually eliminates sore hands and the dreaded "pinch" when a branch suddenly breaks and the fleshy part of your thumb or palm gets caught. After some heavy pruning this season, these finally gave out after years of service. Absolutely no complaints considering the abuse they took. I'm buying two pairs and dumping my others into the recycle bin for good. Once you've tried these, you won't accept the other junk that's out there, no matter how expensive and what brand name they may have.

Several years ago, I bought an electric sharpening system for around $40 and was never very impressed. This Fiskars sharpener is 10 times better! It puts a razor-like edge on my knives with very little effort. I took it to my mother's house to do her knives, and all she could say was "WOW!" I would recommend this item to all.

This little grass shear is great! It is easy to use and I have had no problem with it. It is so easy to change from grass shear to shrub clipper. The shrub clippers are a little short, but still work great. I would recommend this to anyone!

I recently purchased the Fiskars Big Grip Garden Knife. I looked everywhere for something like this in my local Big Box and hardware stores and couldn't find it. This is the perfect tool for working in the garden! It's the first one I grab from my gardenening bag. Works like a charm. Cuts through nasty hard-to-pull weed roots with ease! Every gardener should own one!
