Seems like a great product - relatively inexpensive, powerful, lighter than gas models, can blow or vac, mulches when in vac mode, environment friendly etc. Not so great in practice for the following reasons: * Can blow at modest speed fairly quietly but loud whine at full speed --> need hearing protection * Very loud in vacuum mode, mostly leaves whacking through machine --> need hearing protection * Awkward to carry and hold in vacuum mode- bag supposed to sit over one shoulder but really need two hands to hold unit in front of body so everything kind of twisted and awkward * Vacuum near useless at anything other than full power * Vacuum useless to pick up leaves by walking around lawn - need to blow or rake into piles then vacuum/mulch Read More

This product saves time, money, and eliminates lighter fluid taste. I get 4-5 years out of each one I purchase, and I grill heavily year round in Florida. I save a tremendous amount of money not having to purchase lighter fluid. It gets coals ready much faster and more thoroughly than lighter fluid, and leaves no aftertaste. You can start full baskets for large grills, or fill it less for smaller grills. Uses only newspaper. I have tried cheaper no name chimneys, but have always been disappointed. This is a much higher quality product than any equivalent product I have seen. You owe it to yourself to get one!

If you are in the military or work with agencies or companies who use 24-hour time, you may not want this clock / thermometer. It will display 24-hour time -BUT it forces you to use a celsius temperature measurement with 24-hour timekeeping. Other than that, it's a nice package for the price.

We were having a difficult time keeping rabbits off our lawn. One had returned yet again to start another nest, after I had cautiously relocated her bunnies from her last litter to another area. I was concerned as I did not want to cause any harm to her offspring. Once this product was installed, it was able to detect the slightest motion in its path, and a stream of water would scare it off. We have not seen any more rabbits on the lawn since this was installed, however we did water down a guy sent to do some lawn work at our request!! NOTE: If the scarecrow is set at its most sensitive, a strong breeze or wind will also set it off.
