Ppinters. I rely on Consumer Reports and Amazon.com customer product evaluations in buying almost everything, and agree that this printer is excellent. The form, fit and function indicate quality design and manufacturing. Many features, good operating instructions. I haven't had to replace the ink cartridges yet, but others report economical operation. Bill

When it comes to ink for my R1800 photo printer, I am concerned with the quality of the images I print. The Epson cyan UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink cartridge provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging. It is important to me that my prints are of high quality, so I don't attempt to use the cheaper compatible ink cartridges. The color can be duplicated, but all inks are not created equal. Third party options may produce a good print initially, but may not hold up or last as long. PROS: Provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging CONS: Price

After about 1-month, we are very satisfied with these phones. The reception is superior to other cordless phones that I have had in the past and cover our entire house and yard (which because of topology has been a problem for our prior cordless phones). To be fair, we do not make use of a lot of the special features, but I do find the speaker phone to be very good. The only thing preventing me from giving this a 5-star rating is that I would like the digital answering machine clarity to be a little better, but it is actually quite a bit better than our prior, separate Radio Shack digital answering machine.

I bought the Targus CVR600 15.4 Goove Notebook Backpack for my new Dell XPS 1530 laptop. It's great bag that has enough pockets to store all my stuff, cables, discs, SD cards and flash drives, books for class and my 15" laptop. It's a great place to keep all the things I need while away at school. And, if needed, it's got room to OVERSTUFF it with other things I may not even need. Either way, I get to keep all that I want with me! I highly recommend this bag and best of all, it compare very well to bags that cost twice as much! Thanks Targus!

I have never even been able to see what kind of print quality this printer has because the 3 broken ones that I have received NEVER worked. I got one through my student discount when I bought my Macbook. It had a hardware issue so the place I got it from just sent me another one which also had a hardware issue where the ink cartridge could not move and it also made a VERY loud screeching noise when turned on. On that one I went through Epson's tech support and received another one in the mail today through the manufacturer's warranty. It has the exact same hardware issue as the 2nd one that I had. So now I have 3 broken R280's laying around. I wonder what Epson will do now. This is very cheaply made and I would not recommend it. Spend a little extra money and get the all-in-one.
