I get 800 to 1100 extra copies from each cartridge. After the "Toner Life End" message appears, it refuses to print even one more copy. Offensive...until you show it who's in charge. Remove the cartridge and find 2 clear plastic port holes, one on each side. The printer shines a light through these to decide when to shut you off. But it's too sudden and too early. Cover one or both windows with a small piece of masking tape. I get about 3400 copies per cartridge instead of 2400. I really like Brother printers now that I have taught them some manners.

Very good product. Very convenient. I use it for my home network and since I have a notebook and so does my wife, it makes printing easy. A little bit of trouble with the installation because I have a Mac and my wife has a PC.

This ink cartridge is good. It is high yield so it should last for a long time. The price at amazon was the lowest I found.

This item is a winner. It was purchased based on my brother-in-law's recommendation of a smaller model. I am using it strictly for home organizing tasks and find it easy to use, fast set-up, and good labels for shelves, boxes, etc. Haven't tried the computer functions yet. But would definitely recommend this for making labels for home use. There is one proviso which I would note to the manufacturer. It is tough to figure out which of the label tapes fit each model. A better system is needed to identify them with the appropriate machine. To give an example, it would appear that all TMZ model labels would fit this one; it's not true though. Be careful about this when you purchase the labels.

Not much to say about this Brother tape, other than it works great, stays on what it gets stuck to, and it's easy to peel off its protective backing. Been purchasing this product for a few years and will continue to do so. Labels are everywhere in our office. :)

This tape lasts a good while, and I purchased it at a much better cost than the ridiculous markup at places like OfficeMax or Office Depot. Nothing but a good experience, and will buy from again.

Good value. Much less then HP. I changed all my HP color printers to brother. 1/2 the price to print a color page. Generic refills clogged the printer. I will only use OEM from now on.

I have owned this labeler for a couple of years and use it at school to label my student's instrument lockers. I rarely have had to change the batteries, although I think having to use 3 batteries in a machine like this is a bit much. It has been a terrific little labeler! the tapes are way too expensive, but they do offer nice color combinations.

Pretty basic, but a labeller doesn't need to be fancy, and it works great so far! Great price!

This drum arrived with toner particles on the roller. We called to get replacement unit which also have toner particles on it. Since my drum is not working so I have to use this drum. So far, the drum is working OK. I just don't know if this was a returned item from other customer.
