The knife at the end will not lock in the "out" position. It's still usable, but inconvenient to do so. I do like the tool's ability to quickly slice through the plastic security packaging.

Sharp and durable. The actual cutting end is a bit on the short side, but I think that this provides more leverage and hence more cutting power. Great product and durable. I've been using it for almost 6 months now and to date no issues.

Well made knife, if a little big to carry in your pocket. This knife uses standard sized utility blades, meaning that you'll have no trouble finding what ever kind of blade you want. From super cheap throw away blades, to high quality blades that will last a long time. Because it uses full sized blades, it is a little bit on the bigger side of pocket knifes. The wood inlay is well done, and the knife certainly has a solid feel. It opens and closes easily and smoothly, and the blade change mechanism is easy to use. My only thought is that for the size of this knife, they probably could have found a place to store some extra blades, but that's not to detract from how nice this knife is.

This are the same blades that came with your trimmer and as such work great. The five pack is a much better deal than buying them one at a time and you will never be without a sharp blade when you need it.

It works great but when I first got it I had some trouble putting the blade in. You need a screwdriver to open the case, take out one of the blades and put it in. A cheaper one might be preferable for some people.

I cut a lot of leather using my craft knife and I have found that the sharper blades are more reliable, less dangerous, and far more enjoyable to use. I have been buying the normal x-acto blades for a long time but I bought these on a whim. The X-life blades are scalpel-sharp and hold their edge longer than the standard X-acto blades. These X-life blades have an anti-rust coating in case you use a single blade long enough for it to rust... this is a feature of questionable usefulness but is mostly harmless. If there's anything I don't like about this product it's the packaging. The blades inside the plastic package are wrapped in paper and are naked. Be careful when opening the paper and it'll be fine.
