Works great! At first I experienced a bit of stickiness on the slide at it's highest pitch, but after a few days that went away. Perhaps it was just that I figured out how to slide it right. Anyway, I recommend this slide whistle highly :-)

I've been playing the trumpet for about 10+ years now, and use this trumpet primarily for rehearsal settings. It's a good beginner trumpet, and a good rehearsal trumpet, but if you have been playing the trumpet for more than 3 years, then consider getting a professional trumpet. (Even though they're much more costly) This is a fairly decent trumpet for the price. Nice finish, durable case, valves a little crammed--however a good valve oil should solve it. Can't beat it for $99!

Although I do play music, I am not a trumpet player. But I bought this instrument for a 9-year-old boy who is just beginning to play. He loves this trumpet, and I love hearing him play. He is making amazing progress. The instrument sounds wonderful, is solidly constructed, and easy to maintain. I think that it is a perfect choice and a fantastic value. I love the fact that the man behind the Hutchen concept is so committed to the musical education of young people. I will recommend Hutchen instruments to other parents.

I have played a beautiful old tenor recorder made of pear wood for the last 42 years. This sounds almost as good and has the low c# key which mine doesn't have. For travelling, I feel much better about bringing this along. It is a great value. I took it on a recent trip to Africa and, if I had been so inclined, I would have felt fine giving it away as a gift and buying another when I got home.

This is a very good flute for the value. It sound's very nice and is smooth for playing. If you want to learn to play or you are short of cash this is a graet option.

I bought this case because I wanted to be able to put the harmonica in my pocket and not have it get banged up on my car keys or cell phone. The standard plastic cases that come with harmonicas are too fat and hard to be comfortable in a pocket. This is a well made case with a good zipper and padding, but it is about 50% too long for a Horner Special 20 or similar 10 hole diatonic harmonica. It is obviously made with "one size fits all" in mind. As such, it is bulkier than I wanted, but still usable.
