The reason I decided to purchase this saxophone is because the school wanted the parents to rent them for $50 a month(with an option to buy). Having been in band myself I know the quality of the typical rental instrument is medicore (plus they have been used) I figured out that I would actually spend more for the rental than this one. Plus I feel the Suzuki is a higher quality. It arrived in perfect condition, the case is beautiful with a good sized space for reeds, etc. We've had it six months and no problems. I bought it for my son, but I was able to try it myself as I have played both clarinet and saxophone. The tone is excellent.

Musical Instruments : Hohner 7545 CX12 Chromatic Harmonica

I've played harmonica for 55 years, most of these professionally. I'm fussy, and tight with compliments. They're earned, not given. I'm quite particular about my harmonicas, expect a lot, demand a lot. I've owned some that were junk, or required much work to get up to my standards.

The CX-12 isn't one of these.

I bought mine when they first came out several years back. Out of the box with no tweaks, it played beautifully. Unlike most chromatics, the CX-12 is wonderfully air-tight, with windsavers on the lower two octaves. I can get double, maybe even triple the time per lungful compared to other chroms I've played. The slide is smooth, precise, flawless. The one piece cover gives the CX-12 a HUGE sound. The reed action is firm, exactly as it should be. A tab ... Read More

This is one helluva case! Holds all my harmonicas (7 to date, with a chromatic on the way) with the foam allowing for my tuner, digital recorder, and harmonica neck holder to be stored along side all of my harps.

Tougher than you'd think... and the foam definately keeps your stuff where you left it. Other cases leave your stuff loose and while they may lock, they dont have that secure feeling foam provides (No reeds getting knocked out of place if something should happen like a drop)...

As far as seeing multiples at gigs, parties, etc... Hell, make it your own... Fill in the Hohner logo with a paint pen, plaster it with your favorite bands stickers. Then you know it's yours.
