I bought this for my one year old instead of a cheapy xylophone that can't be used once she gets older and I love it. The sticks are one piece so no threat of the ball falling off and her choking on it. She bangs the heck out of this thing and it stands up fairly well (She did smash a little bit of its foam deadener, but it still works, hope it won't affect it later). Nice sound and Mom has more fun playing it then the baby I think. Love the fact that it is a "toy" now and will be able to be used for real music when she gets old enough to read music. I do dislike that the cover won't lay down flat, so it looks just like the picture when opened, I do set my music there, but wish I had the option to lay it down flat or take it off.

I'm totally happy with this uke. It projects a wonderful tone and is very well made. No, it's not the top of the line but, for the price, it can't be beat. I used a restorative polish on it to bring out the wood grain as it's a bit on the dull side out of the box. I highly recommend it for those who want quality but not a huge price.

I shopped around for a "daily player" not wanting to spend much money, when I came across this Rogue RA-100 dreadnought. I read reviews on Musciansfriend, Music123 and harmonycentral: all rating this guitar quite highly, and many of the reviews by playing professionals! That sealed the deal and I bought one, in fact a mandolin as well. I could'nt have been more surprised when they arrived. The fit and finish was very good, the neck was straight, the action was almost perfect (I did make a small adjustment to bring it down to 3/32ths), the black finish was flawless, the binding was well trimmed and the tuning machine heads were of better quality than I expected. I got this drum for my son's 4th birthday. He was excited to get it. I don't mind the sound at all. It is not a loud annoying sound like some cheap toys are. We also had the large lollipop Remo drum already, which we all enjoy. I also have a 18 month old. There is a mallet for each of them and they both play on it at the same time. But, I put the mallets up when not in use because these mallets are wrapped and tied. Lollipop mallet is not wrapped. I highly recommend both drums. The large lollipop has a lower pitch than the floor tom. My husband and I also find it hard to resist playing on them. We plan to add to our collection of Remo kids drums. Also, it is great that they are made in the USA.

I recieved my violin today for my daughter. I read the reviews on this product and I was really in the middle. Well after recieving a broken violin today I am convinced that I should have gone done to the local music store and rented one. It was horrible, light wieght - yeah like 8 oz, not 8 lbs. I think that is why it showed up broken. The strings will not stay tight, the neck was broken, the chin rest was broken and the back had a long split. I was horrified. I buy a lot online and this is the first time I have felt I was taken. I am trying to return the product now.

I played the flute in middle and high school....I haven't played in 6+ years now. So, when my church wanted me to play for them, I whipped out my old flute...and it didn't work. Thankfully I found this flute, it is excellent....the tone and quality are great and the price is even better.

I went online to find the manufacturer for this piece of junk only to find that there are mostly happy customers based on the number of positive ratings here. I, on the other hand, have been wildly underwhelmed. First the neck became completely unglued and fell apart after owning it for a couple months. After re-gluing the neck, three weeks later the bottom piece that holds the strings also came unglued. I discovered that they had only fastened it down with one screw on the right side and nothing on the left. Not happy at all so I would recommend that you keep your receipt in case you get one of the lemons like I did.

This keyboard works fine for me. I'm not a sound engineer, just a home studio hobbyist. I use Pro Tools LE to do most of my recordings. I also program MIDI parts on that software using the pencil (note by note!). So I decided to get a controller keyboard to facilitate the job. The semi weighted keys let you program different velocities when playing creating a more interesting and human effect (especially on cymbals) Difficult to program? I don't think so. I downloaded the Enigma software from the M-Audio website and the job was automatically done. Programming keys on a Mac is piece of cake, just drag and drop! BFD can also program the keys in auto mode. Don't be fooled for those who are saying is complicated to assign sound to the keys. Low price, great specs... it's up to you.
