I bought this guitar for my 6 yr old son. I was taking a chance w/ this one, there was no reviews for it. And all the other reviews for the other guitars were not appealing. But this one was a different brand so I went for it! The results were very rewarding. When u tighten the strings they stay tightened and it sounds great for a kids guitar. The guiter is made very nicely and very durable. I am definately glad I bought this one. To be sure the strings stayed tighten we played it for over an hour w/ no problems. If you're looking for a good kids guitar buy this one A++++++++ Also my mother wants me to buy one for her for her birthday she likes the small size than to the traditional size. The guitar arrived just in time, looked just like the picture, and it sounds great for beginners. Although, the strings it came with are a little odd, but at least they give you extra strings. And not everything that was promised came with the guitar. It didn't come with the pick guard, and the pitch pipe is poorly made. Although the pitch pipe isn't much of a problem, I was a bit disappointed it didn't come with the guard. Overall good.

It has a nice tone and seems sturdy so far. It came very well packed with quick shipping. They'll outgrow the octave range in high school if they stay with the full percussion set, but how many of us have room for a full-range set anyway? This is a great range span for the early years in percussion.

Gosh this would be a really cool product -- except that it doesn't work with the Vista operating system and, guess what, Microsoft considers XP to be "end of life"! Come on, Creative, if you are not going to support your current products under the current Windows operating system -- well, that's pretty bad.

I ordered this for my eleven year old daughter because she is starting 6th grade and the school only provides loaner instruments to the lower grades. It came quickly, but what came was a Simba brand model CL-200 Clarinet. I admit that my daughter knows more about these things than I do becuse she has been taking clarinet for two years in school, but it looks to be a pretty cheaply made piece of plastic. Little more than a toy. My daughter says it is certainly useable, but not near the quality the school provided to her in 4th and 5th grade. I don't know what planet this thing would be worth what the ad claims to be the list price, the Amazon price (about 40% of list) is more reasonable. In the end; I guess you get what you pay for.

I've owned this guitar for about 4 months, and am pretty pleased with it. For the price, you can't beat it. The sound is adequate. It seems durable- I've accidentally knocked it over several times, and nothing has broken or come apart. It comes rigged with a decent set of strings too, I'm a lefty so I immediately took them off and strung them the opposite way, and they're still hanging in there. I highly recommend this guitar for a beginner, or for someone who simply wants an inexpensive guitar to take with them or practice alternate tunings with.
