When a master controller keyboard started to go flaky on me, I started looking for a replacement, and since I didn't REALLY need anything but a basic piano at this point (already having other keyboards that can serve this purpose), the focus was going to be on having 88 weighted keys, but being lightweight and portable. In the start of the 90s, stage pianos that remotely sounded like the real thing were becoming affordable, though hideously bulky and heavy. Let's just say they wouldn't fit in my car so easily, which leaves you reliant on the rest of the band for your transportation. I saw some bad reviews of this but I think it's a great deal for the money. Have you seen what else is out there ? You could pay hundreds and only get a little more that this. I like the volume control and headphone jack. It huge and colorful and stimulating for a little girl to experiment with some basic musical skills.

I bought this for my little girl, who's 4. She absolutely loves it. The only pick I have is that it does not come with a little beginner booklet. But, I am very happy with this product. Very well put together, but do not recomend this for someone any younger than 3. The child will need to be coordinated, so the stool will not tip over. It is perfect for testing it out to see if my daughter will develop a love for piano, and if not, it's not like I paid a lot of money for. Great starter!

Maybe I had wrong intentions with this product since I was thinking that would more like a musical instrument. Not! You can barely play two keys in the same time. Sounds untuned and looks like a toy for annoying kids. If you're looking for a Melodia don't go cheap. The cheapest the instrument the worst experience you'll have. I should bought that Hohner HM-901 instead.

My daughter saved up to buy this for herself. She also plays an expensive keyboard at church, but she loves this one more. The sound is great, it has all the features she wanted, and it is portable enough for her to take with her if she needs to. The quality is very good, as well. One of our best purchases!
