The Zoom H2 Handy Portable Stereo Recorder is an excellent piece of audio equipment. Once I changed my frame of reference from tape recording to digital recording, the H2 became easy to use and did everything I needed it to do. The microphone, sound quality and variety of recording options are first rate. The H2 has all of the ports needed for all of the connections I need to make. The fact that I can hear myself in the headphones (included) while I am speaking into the microphone gave me the real feel of the studio. This was my "professional" quality recorder, and i am amazed at what it can do. Pros: Versatile!!!! SD card memory Runs on ac adapter, usb power, or battery power. Record stand alone or as a computer interface built in microphones are FLAT OUT SOLID. Cons: SD card is hard to take out size - its a little large to use for recording yourself with a clip on mic and the recorder in a pocket if you use it for that setting. These are very small negatives though, overall i love this product.

This version of the zoom has a ton of features, and it is really rugged. I was wary of the G1 since it is plastic, but the G2 is solidly built with a decent metal body. The effects sound good, and the built-in tuner is great. The best part about the G2 is the price. I can't believe all the features for what this thing costs.

I ordered this pedal after reading some positive reviews for it, and it more than lives up to the press! For a guy like me, who's a musician purely by hobby, this is a perfect investment because the price is reasonable, but the unit performs exceptionally well. It has a nice selection of effects, is programmable, and even has a built-in drum machine. I recommend this to anyone who wants to add some crunch to their playing without spending a small fortune.
