The TM-40 is a good deal for the money. I use it to tune my guitars and the kids use the metronome for the piano. It performs well for both tasks. I wouldn't be without one.

I am a beginning guitarist and I bought this to help me learn how to tune the guitar. It is fairly simple to use. just pluck the string and it'll tell you if its off or not. Good product overall. There are no doubt better ones for a higher price.

Korg is awesome, had 3 of these buggers stolen and keep buying them because they rock and they are cheap! Fast Shipping - will do business again.

I thought Korg would be a great brand to buy, but this metronome is so cheaply made. It looks like it maybe cost them a dollar to make, including the labor. At the highest volume it is just not loud enough to be heard over the piano. It was impossible for me to open just to put the batteries in. My husband, with his stronger fingers had to do it. You have to push in two side tabs and pull apart the two halves of the box to insert the batteries next to the little circuit board. I was worried I would accidentally move something around in there and mess up the whole unit. If I would do it all over again, I wouldn't pay more than about $8 for it.

Brought for my daughter who play cello at the middle school's orchestra. Easy to use and bring to school.

I enjoy this thoroughly. No problems, comes with tuning chart so you can see what you have to tune it to, and it auto-detects the note played and then tells you if you're to sharp or flat.

I found myself in need of a reliable & reasonably priced chromatic tuner. This one fits the bill. It is super simple and right on the mark. The screen is large enough to view and it works great. I do wish it had backlighting but for the price, it gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Recommended for people who like to keep all their strings in tune.

The turner clip and the TM-40 are great, very sensitive and helpful, specially if you just started playing an instrument and you are no sure if you are hitting the right note. I really like these two products.

I bought this to see if it helped in noisy environments without needing a breakout box or other DI box with effects/tuner output. It works extremely well, is quite compact, and gets my highest recommendation. Inexpensive improvement in tuner ease.
