I bought this guitar from Music 123, a little hesitant about buying a guitar that I had never heard. But as soon as I got it I was amazed by how good it sounds, specially plugged in. The thin body makes it very comfortable to play and the strap attaches at both supports on the body which makes it more comfortable than guitars that where you have to tie the strap to the top of the neck. The great looks of this guitar alone make it seem worth more than $300. Overall, I would say get it if you don't want to spend more than $500 for a takamine or yamaha (which sound better, but cost a lot more). Good for doing rythm guitar or leading worship or something like that.

If you're looking for a cheap guitar that sounds good then this is a good buy. The guitar has nice tones with distortion but doesn't sound as good clean. You will probably have to raise the action hight on the bottum two strings (A & E), as they tend to buzz on the frets alot. Other than that the playability is fine. The guitar has a beautiful finish but doesn't really look like a les paul outside of the general body shape. Unlike a real les paul, the top of the body is completely flat and doesn't feature the white outline. Also, the head stock says "Special model" rather than "Les Paul model". This is a great guitar if you only care about the sound but if you want the look of a les paul it's better to go for an Epi LP 100 or LP Standard.

OK, not set neck (hence low low price) and not a Gibson (who cares?), but a terrific sounding low cost, beautiful, high quality musical instrument with the look and feel of a true Les Paul. Sure, after ya hit the big time, go buy a Gibson, but this axe looks just as fine and sounds almost as good- that is awesome! Bang for the buck can not be beat!

When I 1st got this guitar I was really nervous. I heard mixed reviews about it, some saying it was awesome and some saying it sucked. I was pleasantly surprised when i plugged it in 2 my amp(it's a crappy amp and the Les Paul sounded way better than my Strat!). It's easy 2 move your fingers, sounds great, looks great and makes it so ur cables never fall out. my one complaint is there's only 1 tone and 1 volume, but it still has that Les Paul sound! It sounds great dirty and clean and is great for rockin out!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
