Musical Instruments : Dunlop L13P Lucky 13 Players Guitar Picks - 6 Pack, 1.0MM 6-Pack

The graphics are cool as heck but where these really shine is what they're made of. It's a harder plastic than Dunlop's Tortex picks and lasts WAY longer. I mod my picks with a pointier end, first scraping with a knife and then smoothing with 1000 grit paper. They respond very well to this and end up looking factory made like that. They last a LONG time. I stocked up on my 1.0 mm ones in case they stop making them.

This kit is amazing. If you plan on changing your strings, then this is worth buying for the fretboard cleaner alone. It's crazy how much faster you can play after you use this stuff! Awesome product!!!

This 3.0 pick is the the stiffest pick of the Stubby series by Dunlop. Doesn't flex in any bit. It's thicker than most picks - about 2x thicker then the Dunlop Jazz III (black and red) in the middle, then tapers off towards the edges. I like the thicker feel because you have something to "grab" onto.

This pick is precise and fast. It also provides a good attack on the strings. This is a very small teardrop size that almost completely hides under the thumb. The bigger version of this is the Big Stubby which can be used for bass. If you don't like the feel and thickness of this but prefer a precise rigid unbendable pick try the Dunlop Jazz III (red or black) or its bigger version, the Dunlop Jazz III XL.

Musical Instruments : Dunlop Trigger Classical Guitar Capo, Black

I've been using this capo for two years now and it's the same as it was when I first bought it. I've used and abused guitars with this capo on before and it still doesn't seem to faze this little sucker. It fits snugly around the neck of a guitar and stays there until you wanna move it. Nice investment.

solid, stiff, not flimsy.

This specific one is a set of black not red picks.

You can solo like there's not tomorrow with this one pick.

I've used many...

for ex.. fender, local music brands, guitar center picks, and all the likes...

of other brands...

but I've always come back to this one.

I've also used flimsy ones, light weight picks, stiffer picks, regular stiff, bigger, smaller, average and everything else you can think of...

and STILL I've always come back to this one.

This review is actually a review for two, or rather two and half, products the Dunlop and Schaller strap locks. Dunlop having the original and dual design locks.

I have both types on my guitars.

First the Dunlop: (all finish types)
Installation was simple, screw was replaced with the one included in the package. I had to drill one of my guitars to enlarge the hole, easy. The finish of the lock was O.K. the black suffered the most with some dings and scratches, depending on the shipping and how long the locks were packed the finishing flaws will vary. I noticed it the most on black.

They feel secure and lock well in place; I still feel they are a bit far from the guitar body as compared to the Schallers. I would recommend the dual design as opposed ... Read More

Nice picks. I bought these (the yellow) and the green ones which are a little thicker. I prefer these to the green ones. I am used to playing with the fender medium picks. These yellow dunlops are closer to fender mediums... maybe slightly thicker. Best guess is that they function in btwn a fender medium and heavy.

All in all a nice pick. Doesn't slip like the fenders and it "feels" like i can pick scales better. I think I will stick with this brand for a while and maybe even try the set that is one step thinner just to see.
