thought this would make stringing my guitar easier and it did but it also made stringing my guitar downright enjoyable! the design is really functionable the peg puller is great, the winder zip zap patty wack! and the cutter all do their jobs. when i strung my first guitar with this i even notice how nice the strings look perfectly and evenly wounded cause usually im a sloppy winder, i love this thing!

I have been playing acoustic guitars for over 15 years now. I am by no means a virtuoso, but I do play regularly with my praise team. I have been intrigued by the seemingly endless list of acoustic guitar strings available, and I have tried dozens of different brands and types all over the price scale. These strings, in my opinion, offer the best value of all the ones that I have used. They probably last about three times as your average uncoated set of strings in their "prime," and they don't deteriorate as fast at the end of their lifecycle (so you can keep procrastinating changing your strings without sacrificing as much). 5 Stars.

I am a freelance classical violinist and these are the strings I always go back to. It depends on the instrument-- but I find these much warmer and fuller than Dominants. And it is not that much fun to start monkeying around with the gut core because they are so expensive.

D'Addario is a pretty reliable name for guitar strings, so I guess I don't see any reason why that should be different for banjo strings. I bought a few sets of these for a beginner-level banjo of mine, and they sound fine, and have a good feel too. Prices for guitar and banjo strings are low enough that one could splurge and buy some nice ones if you really wanted, but unless you're playing shows I don't see any reason why these strings wouldn't be more than sufficient. I bought some Martin brand banjo strings a while ago and I really don't feel or hear much difference between them and these.

OUTSTANDING item for beginner guitar players or anyone who has to use finger and hand movements on any instrument or even tool. However, it is especially designed for strengthening the finger dexterity and movement. Now, if someone could only invent something that would quickly toughen finger tips for string pressure and movement instead of having to impatiently wait for callouses to form on our finger tips. THAT WOULD BE GREAT. Oh, I finally have my callouses, so my fingertip endurance is improving and not as sore. WO!
