I love my new violin! It has excellent tone and it is beautiful to behold. It comes with a great case & strap, 2 bows, 2 bridges, a fine tuner, an extra set of strings, and rosin. The Cecilio CNV-200 is a great bargin for anyone who would like to jump in to learning to play the violin as a beginner, and even a novice could appreciate it's beauty and tone. I'm taking up the instrument again after a 55 year hiatus! The company, Austin Bazaar, shipped immediately and I received the package with everything in excellent shape. Thanks!

As a violin player for most of my life I consider this the worst violin I've ever used. If i was able to give it 0 stars I would. I bought this violin just need up my skills for a little while because my violin was too expensive too ship from another country. After receiving this violin it had many many problems. the strings are too close to the finger board you aren't able to play any notes without the notes sounding horrible. The bridge doesn't totally touch the violin base, so you aren't able to even play the right notes when you actually are. The neck wasn't straight and the area where the string was connected to the pecks was too narrow, so you aren't able to even tune the string right without untuning the other strings. Esta flauta la compre para mi hermano pequeño hace dos años y hoy despues de dos años puedo decirles sin duda alguna esta es una gran flauta y tiene buen sonido, claro basado en relacion con lo que cuesta, pues la recomiendo ampliamente para estudiantes, si eres un flautista expremintado o profesional debes comprarte una flauta mas cara de acuerdo a tu desarrollo como musico.

I purchased this for my son to begin violin lessons. When it arrived, it was not set up. If you don't know how to set it up yourself, it can cost around $80 to have a pro do it for you. My sons violin teacher kept it for a week trying to get it tuned. He couldn't do it. He said that once he gets 3 strings tuned in, then the 4th goes out. He hated to admit it to me, but he said that it was just a poor quality violin. He recommended a Suzuki beginners violin. I returned my Cecilio and got a Suzuki. Wow! What a difference! It arrived set up, and tuned. The quality was obvious. My sons teacher was very pleased! Check out the Suzuki's!

I have had this violin for about 7 or 8 months and I have had to put new pegs, strings, bridge, fine tuners, shoulder rest, chin rest, and bow just to get a somewhat desirable sound, comfort out of it. My fine tuners stopped working and the strings, bow, bridge that come with it are kinda cheap. I guess you kinda get what you pay for but this is a good violin for a beginner which I am. Anyone who is a beginner should not get a expensive violin considering since I got it my time playing has declined due to children and other life situations so it was probably better not too spend too much money on it. I still practice but not as much as I like.

Perfect for my 11 year old. No complaint. A friend of mine lent us his $2000 violin and after tuning this one, it sounds almost just as good as my friend's violin side by side.
