I was shopping for piano for almost 4 months and evaluated all kind of options in price range up to $3500. The acoustic upright also was an option. I once made $500 mistake by buying "premium" piano from M-Audio (total junk, it is as much piano as I'm ballet dancer) so I was very cautious. I'm by no means a pro level piano player but I can throw jazz tune one or two and most of my life I was near good players. So I can tell when it is good. When looking for piano, the action and sound are most important. You do not buy the touch itself, or the sound itself, but the overall experience of playing piano. It has more then enough padding to protect the keys, buttons and surface of my keyboard. Strong full zippers to seal out dust and dirt. And, large amounts of pocket space for adapters, control pedals, headphones and can even hold music books with room to spare. A long adjustable shoulder strap makes carrying a bit easier. If you plan to take good care of your keyboard, then this case is a must have.

We bought this for our 7 year-old granddaughter who is a Suzuki violin student and exhibits a good ear for music. She doesn't play the piano yet; however, our neighbor is a church organist and a man who rebuilds old organs all over the upper Great Lakes area. He came over, played around on it and was very impressed with all that it could do. Soon our little girl will begin piano lessons; we look forward to many a good hour of her fun and pleasure on this instrument, which sounds far far better than any spinet I've ever heard. We also expect the "piano" to become a source of entertainment for her and her friends as they grow into adolescence.
