I bought this on the advice of a friend who's bought several for his family. All of them are far better musicians than I, so perhaps you should take my review with a grain of salt. But my 7-year old loves it, and the fit and finish are better than I expected. The included amp works great, and even if my son has no interest in lessons yet, it's there for him to play with, which he does. It stays in tune better than my acoustic guitar as well. I really need to make a video of him singing though; his lyrics sometimes make Gordon Gano seem sane!

Product does not power on with the supplied adaptor or with the D batteries. Purchased as a holiday gift. Seller will not exchange or refund money. Item is junk and seller is NOT reputable. Just throw your money right in the trash rather than be frustrated.

This violin is VERY cheaply made. I would only purchases this for a child or young adult who isn't seriously going to learn to play. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this on the presumption that it had "1 finger chord" as stated in the sellers description...I feel that the item has been misrepresented, as there doesn't seem to be any such function.

This is a GREAT value in an electric guitar. It comes with all the extras and sounds great for an amazingly low price. Highly recommended as a practice guitar or even a primary axe for the part-time muscian.

I bought this for my little girl, who's 4. She absolutely loves it. The only pick I have is that it does not come with a little beginner booklet. But, I am very happy with this product. Very well put together, but do not recomend this for someone any younger than 3. The child will need to be coordinated, so the stool will not tip over. It is perfect for testing it out to see if my daughter will develop a love for piano, and if not, it's not like I paid a lot of money for. Great starter!

I wanted to get my 3 year old daughter a toy guitar to play around with. I looked up some on Amazon and the majority of the ratings for the toy guitars (this one wasn't rated) were awful. So I decided not to get any of the other guitars and figured I'd take a chance with this one even though there was no feedback. I couldn't believe it when I opened the box--a real "miniature" guitar! It has steel strings, a mini amp that works, a few guitar pics and an adjustable guitar strap--I embroidered her name on it. It is a bit heavy for my daughter (I only let her play with it for maybe 10 minutes at a time--I don't want her back to go out : ) I believe the recommened age is 5-7 years so she will grow into it. THe mini piano is so very cute and looks well crafted as well. My daughter LOVES it. Now, the problem I had with it is that the bench for my baby girl to sit on is too narrow so she topples over easily. That, and I have to rest the piano against a wall because it only has three legs, so if she leans on it at a certain angle, it'll topple over with her. Lastly, the keys seem to stick unless you tap the keys hard, which I guess for kids won't matter, but I've played a real piano and this isn't exactly like that. Yet, I think these problems are extremely small compared to the joy its given my daughter. Oh! and keep in mind that my daughter is only 9 1/2 months old. So, I'm sure most parents buy this for a kid when they're older, so they might not lean on it as much as mine, so take that into consideration.

The first time my son tried to use it, it came apart and will be too expensive to fix. I had bought it early as a gift and so the defect was noticed too late for returning. Also, it was the wrong size.
