I am a beginner and this harmonica works great for me! It has very rich notes even though it is quite small and is only a few dollars. It comes with a two-peice, hard plastic case and basic instructions showing how to hold it and play the notes. You can also find free tips and instructions on the internet telling how to play and care for your harmonica. I highly reccomend it to anyone who wants to try out the harmonica.

I learned to play on a "pocket Pal" and the decided to puy a "Marine Band". At first I loved it for the sound, but soon the wood combs started swelling and took longer and longer to recede. After a few weeks the comb stopped receding and now in some places protrudes out of the front of the harmonica and rubs againest my lips when I play. I am a beginner and this may be somehow my fault, but I don't think I will ever buy a harmonica with wood comb again.

Not a bad harp for a beginner. I recently bought it (my first harmonica) and within a week blew out two reeds. Has good sound, just make sure not to continually blow or draw really hard on one hole.

Pouch was suggested by Amazon to go with harmonica I just bought. It is way too big so just ended up donating this thing. Cheap but useless unless you know the exact size of your harmonica

Yeah.. its a great purchase.. but you have to pay attention to do bends its hard to do them.. In generally you don't have problems to play if you know what a hell doing.. Thanks Amazon!! Thanks Kenny Stinett!!!

I bought this as my first harmonica. I am by no means a harmonica expert, so I read a plethora of reviews and background info on the instruments before buying this one. I bought it because I heard it would be easy to learn on, I knew Hohner has the best reputation (only rivaled by oskar lee) and I wanted a harmonica with a wooden body. So far I am beyond pleased and even to my untrained ear the sound is rich.
