I found myself in need of a reliable & reasonably priced chromatic tuner. This one fits the bill. It is super simple and right on the mark. The screen is large enough to view and it works great. I do wish it had backlighting but for the price, it gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Recommended for people who like to keep all their strings in tune.

I played the flute in middle and high school....I haven't played in 6+ years now. So, when my church wanted me to play for them, I whipped out my old flute...and it didn't work. Thankfully I found this flute, it is excellent....the tone and quality are great and the price is even better.

On a quest to turn my synthesizer into a midi controller for VST instruments in Acid Pro 6.0, I found this little gadget (and if you don't know what that means, you probably don't need this). First off, Acid won't recognize the hardware without the drivers, and the included software refuses to install on a pc running Windows Vista. On the bright side, E-MU has a patch on their website under support that WILL work with Vista. After installing that, everything ran perfectly for me. The cord's a bit short and won't wrap behind my desk, so I ordered a usb extension to avoid having to unplug it all the time. I got this drum for my son's 4th birthday. He was excited to get it. I don't mind the sound at all. It is not a loud annoying sound like some cheap toys are. We also had the large lollipop Remo drum already, which we all enjoy. I also have a 18 month old. There is a mallet for each of them and they both play on it at the same time. But, I put the mallets up when not in use because these mallets are wrapped and tied. Lollipop mallet is not wrapped. I highly recommend both drums. The large lollipop has a lower pitch than the floor tom. My husband and I also find it hard to resist playing on them. We plan to add to our collection of Remo kids drums. Also, it is great that they are made in the USA.

I love most things about this controller, and in time I'm sure I'll love it even more. The size, weight and feel of the controller are nice, its enjoyable to work with. The system behind it is daunting to someone with no experience with MIDI so the lack of a printed manual works against it; yes there is a PDF manual but when the applications I'm trying to use the controller with takes up the full screen keeping a PDF open for reference is a pain... and I prefer printed manuals. All the movable parts feel solid and encouraging to pound on, which is what I'll do until I learn how to actually make music. The Enigma software seems useful, but confusing, though that may be an issue with understanding MIDI... thought this would make stringing my guitar easier and it did but it also made stringing my guitar downright enjoyable! the design is really functionable the peg puller is great, the winder zip zap patty wack! and the cutter all do their jobs. when i strung my first guitar with this i even notice how nice the strings look perfectly and evenly wounded cause usually im a sloppy winder, i love this thing!
