This is a very good flute for the value. It sound's very nice and is smooth for playing. If you want to learn to play or you are short of cash this is a graet option.

I purchased this trumpet in Sept. for my son after doing some diligent Internet research on affordable trumpets. I didn't want to rent-to-own a Jupiter and pay more than $850 through the school rental program. After talking to every parent, music teacher and music store person I could find about what to look for in a quality trumpet, I took a chance on the LJ Hutchen trumpet and received it three days later thanks to fast shipping. Obviously this is a beginner horn. It is a nice horn with decent slotting. The standard 7c mouthpiece is strong silver plated, and works great, but it does need extreme scrubbing every day after play. Normally I'll just go rinse them, but this one needs a scrub. There are 2 braces on main lead, which is just that much more attention to detail. Some issues that I have with the horn, is that it is only free-blowing to an extent. After a certain point, it will lock on you. I do not know if this is because of the 7c mouthpiece that came with it or not, but ffff is not as easily done with this horn, as another. I have had a minor issue with the first valve. It sticks a little, so I have to oil it 2x as much, and it rotates a little. It is not very tight. This trumpet is really great for any trumpet player inexperienced or experienced. The trumpet comes with white gloves, 7c mouthpiece, and a case. The only thing is that the valves stick, but valve oil can fix it. You have to buy the valve oil separate.

Cecilio Blue Lacquer B Flat Trumpet with Hard Shell Carrying Case Nice trumpet but the finish peels after handling it had it for about 2 weeks now and the paint is coming off. The finish isn't all that great but it plays well. Stick to non colored instruments and you might get better results.
