I love the guitar, but Guitar Center is about as clueless a company to deal with as I have ever encountered. 1 - I paid for the guitar online with my credit card. The amount was $139. When I got my credit card statement the bill was for $151. Upon investigation I discovered that the extra $12 was for sales tax. That amount should have shown up the invoice I got online BEFORE I authorized the charge. 2 - So I wrote to Guitar Center and complained about the charge and they totally ignored my letter. 3 - Shipped with the guitar was a flyer for 123Music that offered the same guitar for $40 cheaper than I paid for it and free shipping and no tax. I was actually very pleased with the results. The color of the bass was slightly different than the picture but I still liked the color. I really recomend it to anyone!

Got the guitar, and was way out of tune, the nut was broke, causeing the strings to lay on the frets. had to take it to be repaired 2 days after getting it. And the neck also has to be adjusted. The amp is the only thing that worked properlly.

Bought a Guitar/Amp.They were packaged VERY poorly & items arrived to me ALREADY damaged. This co. has NO phone #.I e-mailed-told company the items were not in working condition & I HAD to return them. They did not answer many e-mails.They WOULD NOT pay for return shipping even though I could NOT use the broken items.Told co. I would give poor feedback or call the Better Business Bureau if they did not pay return shipping & they still did not pay. Poor Company to work with--Stay away !!!!!

Now let's face it this isn't the best bass, neither is it professional, but for 100 bucks you get the bass, a pick, a tuner, a case, a strap, and a stand. that is a VERY GOOD DEAL. the bass has a cool design and is perfect for beginners. the crafting of the bass you will notice is a little cheap, however it still looks, plays and feels great. i recommend this bass to beginners, NOT professionals.

I've wanted an acoustic bass guitar for years but don't play it enough to justify the prices I've seen. I couldn't resist the Dean at under [...] and I wasn't disappointed. This instrument feels quite light for its size yet the neck feels very solid with a large round shape to it. I never expect an instrument to be playable out of the box and, sure enough, I had to loosen up the truss rod (with the included Allen wrench). I'm not sure if the strings it came with were Rotosound or ordinary phosphor-bronze, but that's not the sound I'm after. I agree with another reviewer who opted for flatwound strings (which are hard to find for acoustics, but a set of Fender electrics, 9050M's, gave it a kind of smooth, "upright-like" tone once you find the right touch.
