Lincoln Mayorga has been one of the finest pianist emerged from USA in decades, to my view, he has been the other pianist capable to pay Brahms with such admirable capacity of magic rapture together with the unforgettable Julius Katchen and in minor level, Gary Graffman.. As a matter of fact his Haendel are placed among the supreme versions ever recorded. The fact he has been an underrated pianist is a curious phenomena that results hard to understand. So, I don't hesitate just for a second to recommend you this album, because we are talking about one of the most gifted, sensitive and full rounded American pianists in decades.

Hi. I personally think that if you want a unique gift for parents with young kids, turn them on to these albums. When I had two young kids in the house, I found that playing soft classical music calmed them down, and I even read an article that says that people test higher on intelligence exams when they listen to classical music. Why not try it! I just bought it for my friend who is about to have her first child! It makes a great gift.

Hi. I personally think that if you want a unique gift for parents with young kids, turn them on to these albums. When I had two young kids in the house, I found that playing soft classical music calmed them down, and I even read an article that says that people test higher on intelligence exams when they listen to classical music. Why not try it! I just bought it for my friend who is about to have her first child! It makes a great gift.

Quite an eclectic mix of artists and music. I am not sure this CD is for everyone... From hypnotic instrumentals to howling blues to middle eastern influenced dances to chill dance grooves to classical piano to latin salsa, the soundtrack takes you on an aural journey through diverse cultures. I'm sure it reflects the culture clash depicted in the movie's storyline. Listening to the sample tracks (at Barnes & Noble.com) makes me wish that I lived in a more culturally diverse area... Well if read my other review, you know I'm a fan! I was so psyched to find another one of her albums. Another really great cd. Check out track #8. An original trascription. WOW! All I can say is WOW! If you're a fan of Hungarian dances you can find more on this cd as well. Overall, a great listening experience. She's HOT, too.

my daughter knows is time to sleep when we put the cd. by the 3rd song she is asleep. usually I'm falling asleep at the first song. it's so relaxing, even my cat likes to sleep on this one. he doesn;t move an inch while this is playing.first whispers playtime is also relaxing too. highly recommend them. the only drawback you may find is that the composers and songs are not listed on the cd. for me, they are not important, as long as my daughter likes it, I don;t care who's playing what.she's couple of months only, but this cd, beside relaxing alpha recording, has also colors, numbers and shapes in subliminal messages, so it will be helpful for toddlers more to learn them while sleeping or paying.
