After seeing the movie I was wanting to get my hands on the funky 80's track that is in the background of the trailer for the movie and runs during the introduction of the classic games that ruled the 80's. Its called Gummy Substance and I'm ashamed to say that it runs on repeat for hours at a time while I hack away on my computer. Only problem is the track is only a couple minutes long so it starts driving me insane eventually. The soundtrack is filled with many other great songs from the 80's, and some stuff that will bring back memories of the funnier parts of the documentary. Try to watch the movie first for maximum enjoyment of this purchase.

Sam Kinison is one of the best and most creative comedians I have ever heard, but this CD is an enormous disappointment. The first track is a meandering 33-minute set that is only occasionally funny. It could have been edited down to ten great minutes. All of the other tracks consist of Sam and a band performing covers of various hard rock classics. They're not bad, but I did not buy a Sam Kinison CD for music.

Amongst the Madness is probably one of the best rap albums you've never heard of. I actually came across the Nextmen's music by way of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 (video game). The title track of this album is on the game's soundtrack, & it got me hooked, so I took a chance & got the CD. I gotta say, I wasn't dissapointed. It's got a real good mix of solid mc's that aren't necessarily tryin to be hardcore, for a change, to go along with some absolutely incredible old skool scratchin, samplin, & beats. To me, this album is a perfect example of what hip hop can & should be....

I purchased this compilation primarily for the "Crying Game" track. It fits in well with the other selections on this non-blockbuster MIRAMAX collection. The sound quality(sometimes harsh)is very cinematic in scope. Some of the selections are too short or end abruptly. This inhibits the continuity of the album and gives little feel for the film content. Simply this is just a nice collection of eclectic tunes ranging from the conventional(The Englishman Who...)to the exotic(Picture Bride)to the campy.(Pulp Fiction) Add a star if your a big fan of all the films represented!
