The first album wholly written by Clarke-Nash-Hicks, this holds up surprisingly well in the late 1990's.

Mono and Stereo copies exist of this CD, only by playing the CD can you tell which pressing you have.

Nothing new - considering Josh Grban's incredible voice, I was expecting more. Also, the CD audio quality seemed harsh.

This CD has been a favorite for decades with a great variety of orchestral music ranging from selections from The Messiah to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, complete with clip-clopping hooves, sleigh bells and cracking whips. The Boston Pops can do it all. Great at full volume or as background music.

My grandparents had this album and my family listened to it every year on their record player when I was a kid. Then tapes came along and my grandparents bought the tape and we still listened to it every year. Then CD's came along, we all started growing up, life got busy, we weren't able to see each other as often through the holidays, blah, blah, blah...my grandma passed away in April 2003 and I miss her dearly every, single day. For some reason, I have been thinking a lot lately about the last time I remember feeling 100% happy and carefree. This album came to mind along with all the memories of listening to it with my awesome family and having so much fun at the holidays. I'm about to order the CD now, even though I'm broke and it's $35! LOL! Believe me, it's worth every dime! This is one of ... Read More

The nicest part of this album is it's concept - different styles and arrangements of Christmas music. The country song of "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow", is probably the best arrangement I have ever heard of this song, and the singer is great! Also, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", has a wonderful female vocalist that carries alot of energy, all done in a jazzy style. "White Christmas" also has great vocals and smooth guitar solo's by Mike Stern. All in all, my favorite Christmas album this year. For those of you who like a mix of secular and traditional songs, this would be the album for you!
