I was a big fan of Ray of Light, American Life, Music, Confessions..., etc. I was very excited to see Madonna coming out with a new album and figured she would continue with the more mature sound/less outrageous attitude she embraced starting with Ray of Light....I was mistaken.

I understand Madonna became famous thanks to her sexuality-injected early songs (Like a Virgin, etc) but was hoping that was all behind her. Aside from the dumbed-down, unappealing lyrics and unappetizing 50+ year old in-your-face sexual Madonna, Timbaland is an overplayed hack and doesn't have half the talent of William Orbit or Mirwais...overall I am very dissatisfied with this album & it will stay on the shelf.

This CD is very funny. It gives a view of representing between Latinos and the rest of America. However it is old, as the jokes are based on events of the 1980's, it is still very funny with the Latino views of the American Way of Life.

This career-spanning collection proves to be as well-rounded as the "band" is stylistically. Pigface's direction doesn't just change with each new album--almost every song here touches different genres and employs fresh ideas. Part of me thinks listening to Pigface requires a certain mood, but how can anyone describe so broad a mood to cover all of Atkins' bases? While the lyrics rarely matter, they often fit the generally industrial atmosphere. The focal point, obviously, is the band's adventurous and experimental music.

Unfamiliar ears will perk up to this overlooked goldmine of crazy, brilliant songs. The second disc with great rarities/b-sides/etc should make this worthwhile even for anyone with all of the band's material. All five of you.

I am a huge fan of the Jerky Boys and loved what Kamal did as a part of that duo. Unfortunately, Kamal's prank calls this time around are mostly sub-par and not worth listening to more than once. However, the reason why this CD is worth buying is for the 4 unlisted prank calls performed by an uncredited caller. These "hidden" calls are among some of the best prank calls I have heard... ever. So if this intrigues you, try to track down a copy of this CD.
