HYMN INSPIRED CANTATAS
This second cycle of Bach's cantatas is the beginning of a long and remarkable series of chorale cantatas-works inspired both textually and musically by hymns-which gives the cycle its unity. The opening and closing movements of these chorale cantatas are usually based word for word on the first and last verse of the hymn and its melody.

This is yet another great Italian progressive rock album recorded in 1975.It's quite jazzy and very funky. The lead singer is excellent, although his voice is quite rough,it goes great with the music.the music is very tight with horns and keyboards doing most of the soloing. The rhythm section is very strong too.At times the music can be quite trippy(which is always a good thing) and you will genuinly feel as thought you've been tranported back to the mid 70's.I cannot recommend their second album but if you really like this one give it a shot.
