I love this box set because it is full of great build-ups and charged with energy throughout! I particularly like CD 1, track 9 as it is quite trancy and dreamy without being monotonous. Despite there being few vocals, they are nevertheless very well chosen and mix seamlessly with the rhythm. track 11 of CD 1 is quite strong too...it is charged with emotion while remaining live and energetic.
2nd CD, track 6 is also great. It starts off strong with sexy vocals later on.., again skillfully mixed.
Overall, this box set is great for someone who likes 'moderate' trance tunes with clever mixes.

there's just not much distinction between tracks on this disc. It's slightly pretty melodic trance, a bit of harder "darude" sounding stuff, but it just doesn't really get into your soul. There's a tiny bit of vocal here and there, and an occasional riff that catches your attention for a moment, but for the most part, it sounds like the kind of indistinct "rave" track used in any club scene of any movie in the 1990s. Track times:

1. Armageddon (5:24)
2. Feel free (6:44)
3. feelings (4:48)
4. Angel dust (8:04)
5. The best (3:21)
6. Exodus (4:58)
7. To the rhythm (6:57)
8. Future trance (5:51)
9. Universal nation (5:57)
10. The hurricane (5:36)
11. Touch me (7:14)
12. The orange theme (5:39)

Finally!

A label who isn't afraid to get out there and try new things. That is clearly what Open Source Music set out to accomplish with this inspiring 2 CD set, Walking on Pennsylvania Avenue.

By remixing local acts like Babyfat, Chaise Lounge, Blinded Camels and more; by including top acts like Deep Dish, Slant, Saeed & Palash, duo Christopher and Hakim (aka, Tamaka) have stayed true to their mission to deliver a comprehensive slice of DC electronica.

The album is tight and the music is fantastic as much for its quality as for its diversity.

Inside the CD booklet, OSM also describes its partnership with Metro TeenAIDS to help DC youth by promoting AIDS education and awareness. Part of their CD sales are donated to this cause. Bravo!

There is a diverse roster of musicians with material ranging from worldbeat to electronica to New Age but it all works well together. Every track is unique, yet there is a continuity that makes for a pleasurable listen. This CD has not left my player in 3 days.

This is the final and best CD from New York City's punk stalwarts, The Nerve! Their other CDs were independently released and next to impossible to find anywhere. But this is the one to have anyway. Not really a punk record in the true sense of the word (more of a 90s grunge/heavy rock feel), but there's a strong punk influence and an honest punk sensibility that really comes across on this disc. Extremely catchy, fun, heavy, aggressive, grungy, punky songs that stick with you long after you've listened to them. Lyrics run the gamut from insightful, intelligent and political ("Really", "I Feel Like Singing", "Happy" and the untitled "bonus" track), to outright silly ("The Things You Can't Live Without" which made me give this disc 4 out of 5 stars but still a fun song). Also an unexpected gem in the ... Read More

The official soundtrack to the documentary that chronicles the ex-Beatles transition from musician to anti-war activist and how the government attempted to silence him. The songs included are some of Lennons most political and peace driven material. You may have to actually take in the movie to understand why each song was chosen. Although there are plenty of familiar songs and fan favorites to be enjoyed if you don't
