This album is amazing. I bought Transport 5 when it first came out and had thought it was the best in the genre at the time, but this album is even better. I think Quivver/John Graham's sound has always seemed generally dark, sexy and aggressive -- this album is no exception. It does, however, seem to have a a slightly funkier, house-y sound, laced with an electro vibe. Perfect combination in my opinion. I was lucky enough to see him for a second time, at Sky for Halloween this weekend - wow. He blew my mind. I can think of a bunch of great DJs who are great at making studio/behind-the-scenes productions, but much fewer can really consistently please a live audience (which seems ironic to me, when talking about DJs). Quivver can do both, exceptionally well. Keep the music coming (and please ... Read More

....who try to sing, whose words you either can't understand, or wish you couldn't, Natasha is a breath of fresh air. A total joy. Sexy does NOT mean trashy; Natasha is sexy, clean, and a treasure. She comes from a background in Christian music, and the lessons have stuck....

This is [sort of] the Brit version of "Pocketful of Sunshine"...each album has songs the other doesn't. My own favorites are "I Wanna Have Your Babies" [yes, it's perfectly clean], "Soulmate" and the reprise of "Unwritten". Most of the songs are about relationships, but none of the problems are TOO bad. "Tricky Angel" is really novel, "Backyard" is catchy, and "Smell the Roses" is special, with a great message....

This is a wonderful record...pleasant, clear, voice...lyrics that never offend...rock, ... Read More

I only like 3 songs off this. I could listen to "Pocket Full of Sunshine" over and over and i was hoping there would be more songs like that. But unfortunately there are alot of those dreaded skip-overs that are just unlistenable in my oppinion. I like "put ur arms around me" and the last song comes in as a savior for a waste of an album "not givn' up". It's as if they knew and they said "man we need one more good song on here or else this is gonna tank". the song "soulmate" is ok for a ballad, I like the lyrics. The rest of the songs are just ordinary pop bs. the song "Pirate Bones" is Natasha's attempt at being surreal and edgy. I guess she tried to take her music to the next level. I would say just stick to what you're good at, don't try to be an Amy Winehouse or somebody you can't live ... Read More

I bought this CD at Amazon from the advice of my friend Jenn. When I received the disc I honestly wasn't expecting much. WOW was I surprised to hear so many wonderful songs, one after the other! My favorite is "Your Hero". I highly recommend this CD to anyone who loves Pop/Rock in the genre of Avril Lavine, Pink, Kelly Clarkson and others. I promise this CD will blow your mind!
