I enjoyed this CD because I like the tenors on it very much, and it included a number of selections where the three men are singing together, or cooperatively and that was the best part.

Well i think that in this CD there are not the best voices of the world, but really it is interesting.it is 2 traditional operettes and as far as i know there aren't many CDs with the operette of Benatzky.Additionally this operette will be played in MORBISCH FESTIVAL in july and august and i was very curious to hear something of this. I can say that it is a pleasant CD too with many beautiful songs that everyone can hear delightfully.

I can say that it is a pleasant CD too with many beautiful songs that everyone can hear delightfully.

I wish I'd read the Amazon reviews more carefully before buying this, particularly "A terrible abridgement". This recording may have sonic and vocal performance virtues, but the third act in particular has been hacked to incomprehensibility. Lehár is pretty fluffy stuff to begin with, but it's not as utterly scatterbrained as one would be led to conclude from this recording.
