i would suggest this cd to all of the people and the dj's out there that are looking for music for parties and such. there are so many highlights and is a fun, dancing and fingerpopping cd. it was worth the money

"Memories From a Dream" is the debut recording by the Athens, Greece-based duo Honest Touch. Fofi Maniadaki and Samy Elgazzar are both professors of music with extensive music credentials in classical and contemporary music. Fofi is a piano soloist with an elegant, flowing touch. Samy composes and conducts the music, and plays keyboards. Calling Honest Touch a project rather than a band, they are backed by a five-piece band consisting of percussion, bass, and a variety of guitars. Guest artists are violinist Vasilis Garoufalidis and vocalist Marita Paparizou. Some tracks are also backed by the Amadeus Orchestra, Philarmonia Bulgarica, and the Fons Musicalis Choir. This group has a positive sound. I agree with a previous reviewer that these songs do bring your mood into a positive state. Excellent songs. I always affiliated good times with this group. I don't know why, but its probably how Erasure presents its music.

Sometime record companies release compilation albums that make sense. Other times they make no sense at all, and that's the case with 18 HITS. I suspect it was intended as a budget release, perhaps for Europe. The disc contains, as it's titled, 18 tracks from Swedish supergroup ABBA, with many of their biggest hits here. The confusing part is when you wonder why some of these tracks were included and others excluded. Things get off to a decent start with the first nine tracks being true, solid hits. I can't fault the inclusion of track 10, "Hasta Mañana", as it's always been one of my favorites, yet it wasn't a huge hit (though it was included on ABBA'S GREATEST HITS). I also don't really object to "Lay All Your Love On Me", but again, it wasn't a huge hit originally. "Thank You For The Music" ... Read More
