Being a long time (50 years) fan of Henry's stuff, this was a bore. Only because it sounded too much like Fiedler. That's not meant to be an insult, but it just does not have the Mancini sound..the strong brass and "jazziness" that draws most of us to the fire. Also I have not been one to enjoy a whole disc of melodies...all or nothing at all. I do miss the little spaces between the cuts on a shiny new vinyl disc.
