Even if "Guitar Music" isn't Kottke's Opus one in ingenuity, he newer fails to leave one breathless with admiration. Kottke is the masters mentor when it comes to playing the lute but I miss his raspy vocals.

I have to agree with another reviewer here that Copperopolis lacks the attention to composition that the majority of his previous releases have possessed. If this were a live release, it would be a suitable representation of Charlie and the band's improvisation skills, not to mention their ability to crank it up and rock. But, the jams really don't gel for me. Another issue with Copperopolis is the sound quality. This is far and away the most poorly recorded release from Charlie. Good performances can always overcome mediocre recording, but the combination of unfocused playing and murky sound make Copperopolis Charlie's weakest CD. Having finished slagging this one, let me say that I'll go right out and buy Charlie's next release. Charlie Hunter remains one of far too few adventurous and engaging ... Read More

Iron Maiden is one of the heavy metal greats. This song is truly awesome. It starts of slow-then hits you like a freight train. The harmonies and vocals and solos are incredibly good and is a testament to how strong Maiden still is.

OOTSP, the second track off Iron Maiden's 2000 album, "Brave New World" is a testament that Maiden is still rocking as hard as ever. Although the track is edited from the full album version, it maintains the elements that make it one of the album's best. The harmonic vocals on the track are mesmerizing, and the powerful riffs will keep you begging for more. The fact that this single contains "Wasted Years" live is a treat in and of itself, being one of the Maiden tracks that is rarely ever played on tour. Plus, the video with footage from Maiden's 2000 tour will make you wish you had been there. Up the Irons!!
